Excerpt: Cheap portable headphones that last a reasonable time and sound reasonably good. Same as the other colors but cheaper. Not flat but boosted bass and high treble (I can live with). So far, the way one went bad: one phone developed static after about 6 mos. Seems well constructed for a $[$]headphone. I love Apple, but their buds don't last more than a few mos of constant use--one phone goes out or very low. The filament must be outrageously thin.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Value, Lightweight
Summary: For the price, these are not bad at all. The bass is nice and strong, and the highs are reasonably clear. However, the strong bass response does seem to hurt the clarity of the middle tones and the highs could be a bit better. Overall, it sounds a bit like being in a concert.
Pros: Inexpensive. Strong bass response. Better overall performance than other low-cost off-the-shelf earphones.
Cons: Clarity in middle tones (and to a lesser extent highs) compromised for bass.
Cons: I love sennheiser headphones, but honestly I couldn't see any difference between these headphones and any other ear buds you can find. They also didn't fit in my ears very well, but everyone is different.
