Excerpt: If you're looking for a cheap upgrade from or replacement for a broken set of Apple buds look no further. I bought these to use at work where I'm allowed to listen to music, but I still need to hear what's happeneing around me. As such "in ear" models were right out, as were full size headphones. These are very easy to power with any device, and are durable enough to throw in a bag.
Pros: Clean Midrange, Compact, Good soundstage, Good Value, Pleasant Highs
Summary: Really good earbuds. I've bought several things from Sennheiser, and haven't been let down once. If you're in the market, I'd suggest you give them a shot.
Pros: In general, the sound quality is really nice. good response from most frequencies, though, as they're not canal buds, the bass isn't exceptionally great. Without losing any quality, they get nice and loud when I want to block out the outside environment, and play well very very softly, when I need to hear if people are coming up behind me to ask questions at work.
Cons: Not a lot to say here, as mentioned previously:
Pros: These headphones are really comfortable and lightweight. Other headphones (especially canal ones) are irritating after prolonged usage for me, these however, fit me fine, I've used them continuously every night now with no problems.
Cons: Cable is VERY thin, audio range is in the middle, not great high and not great lows but gets the job done, impedance must be different from prior models as they do not seem to get as loud at full volume on the same mp3 player
Summary: This is a DEFINITE must buy for people who have always used the cheap grocery store headphones! It is an amazing upgrade for just a few dollars more.
Pros: CHEAP/COST EFFECTIVE - $14 for headphones that are MUCH better than the stock headphones you'll find for a little cheaper at your local store
Cons: 90 DEGREE JACK - I'm not a big fan of 90 degree headphone jacks. In my experience, they've been more prone to breaks and issues. However, with about a month of heavy use, there has not been any issues.
