5 July 2013
  • Excerpt: It’s only been a while since I’ve had my Sennheiser earphones when one of our cats damaged it, so I had to get a new one. With brand loyalty coming into play combined with a lack of other options that fit my budget, I decided to go for the …

Gotta love that German engineering

Joe J., Newegg
24 December 2012
  • Summary: Really good earbuds. I've bought several things from Sennheiser, and haven't been let down once. If you're in the market, I'd suggest you give them a shot.
  • Pros: In general, the sound quality is really nice. good response from most frequencies, though, as they're not canal buds, the bass isn't exceptionally great. Without losing any quality, they get nice and loud when I want to block out the outside environment, and play well very very softly, when I nee...
  • Cons: Not a lot to say here, as mentioned previously: If you have them in for several hours, you might have to take them out for a minute or two. Bass response could be better, but then they'd have to be canal buds, and I despise them. Cable could be longer, but then it'd be a con that the cable's too ...

Truc V., Newegg
7 December 2012
  • Summary: Would definitely recommend this item.
  • Pros: These headphones are really comfortable and lightweight. Other headphones (especially canal ones) are irritating after prolonged usage for me, these however, fit me fine, I've used them continuously every night now with no problems. The sound is great, much better than my previous headphones. The...

Ok, not great

Andrew G., Newegg
10 November 2011
  • Summary: Satisfied, but not thrilled
  • Pros: Good for the price
  • Cons: Cable is VERY thin, audio range is in the middle, not great high and not great lows but gets the job done, impedance must be different from prior models as they do not seem to get as loud at full volume on the same mp3 player

Better than stock headphones...

William X., Newegg
3 October 2011
  • Summary: This is a DEFINITE must buy for people who have always used the cheap grocery store headphones! It is an amazing upgrade for just a few dollars more. Keep in mind that this is just a first step/upgrade from stock earbuds.
  • Pros: CHEAP/COST EFFECTIVE - $14 for headphones that are MUCH better than the stock headphones you'll find for a little cheaper at your local store SNUG FIT - These headphones are very snug fitting in my ears, especially with the foam covers. BASS - I'm hearing pounding bass that I could NEVER have hea...
  • Cons: 90 DEGREE JACK - I'm not a big fan of 90 degree headphone jacks. In my experience, they've been more prone to breaks and issues. However, with about a month of heavy use, there has not been any issues. FOAM COVERS - The circular black foam covers fall off and rip off fairly easily. I have already...

  • Summary: Hopefully there is a burn in period with these. If these last more than a year they will be worth the money. They are nothing to write home about but for the price tis a meh.
  • Pros: The fit is good and the are no sharp edges or things that will become dialoged easily. The upper octaves are very clean I notice a real change in the amount of distortion from the old headphones as compared to these.
  • Cons: Replacing my old headphones i notice how lacking these are on the lower registers. They are not bad headphones by any means they just lack any appreciable bass.

  • Cons: None other than the cord is longer which will take some getting used to.
