Excerpt: Of course, this is really a minor problem as I could always use my media player’s equalizers to tweak the bass straight from the music instead of relying on the output of the earphones. Sennheiser never fails when it comes to their mid-range budget offerings. At around $14, the MX 270 is an exceptional alternative that provides dynamic audio as advertised.
Summary: Ofcourse the quality isn't that great but this earphone still turned out to be my best purchase of year 2010. Sennheiser earphones comes with a warranty of 2 years. For the kind of usage i have, i felt i will get it replaced soon. But for my surprise, it lasted complete 3 years before giving up.
Summary: The earphones are really worth the money. They have a perfect balance of bass and treble and are very comfortable. Dont fall off easily if you put on the cotton buds that are provided in the box. Much Much better than a philips or Sony in the same price range. However, the cable slider is too tight and doesnt slide along the wire easily. Sometimes you may feel that the cable is too long but that's OK.!!
Summary: I Got this MX 270 recently . I would say that they are very good as compared to Sony , Panasonic and the likes .They outperform all others . It depends on wht you expct . At this price , i feel its a good deal. Sound is crystal clear and decent BASS ! But you need to handle them carefully as the cable is very thin .
Summary: I've had in mind to buy a pair of decent ear in headphones even if it would cost me a little extra so I went ahead bought a pair of Sennheiser MX270 considering the reputation of the brand. It seems I've been bamboozled since I am bass lover and at high amplitudes, the sound is distorted, secondly I listen to a lot of rock which turned out to sound mediocre on these. So ultimately this was a bad idea which I am going to regret for over an year.
Summary: Hi I have research on net b4 buying this set, i felt that this will be good headset as its from sennheiser, I have used sennhieser b4 too, but this are not that up to thr mark, i m using them on ipod classic, and this produce very regular sound, not giving any surprising surround, not at all optimizing sound, not loud. JBL is much better in this price range.
Summary: purchased it few months back... using it rite now... Pros: crystal clear sound, extra protection near jack and ear plugs for better durability... like all sennheiser products, adequate length of cable. Cons: depth of music ... sometimes feels shallow while listening to heavy rock/metal, cable is pretty thin... can't say how long it will last. Works well with my nokia phone and HP laptop. Very good for normal day to day usage.
