Excerpt: I purchased these, not through B&H but at an airport, as I realized I'd left mine behind. I decided to spring for a nicer pair (they were $ at the airport... OUCH) and unfortunately I do not like them (nor can I not return them). The good is that they sound great. Loud, clear and a nice range..
Probably the best consumer grade headphones currently available
25 October 2015
Summary: Of all that I auditioned (ordered) and reviewed online, these were the best in comfort, quality, build, tech, looks and design. I decided to wait until after the 60 day return guarantee to post my review. Hope this helps others make a decision.
Pros: 1) Presentation and packaging are excellent.
2) Extraordinary, comprehensive tech package (the built in features are thoughtful, purposeful and work as advertised).
3) Extremely comfortable, leather stitched, memory foam ear cups.
4) Attractive, timeless and quality build.
5) Good sou...
Cons: 1) Max volume is weak (an amp and a wire is needed for satisfactory sound volume).
2) Price is fairly exclusive for a pair of consumer headphones.
3) You can't turn the ANC off when in wireless mode.
4) The inner ear cup diameter is a bit too small.
5) The mustard colored fabric insid...
Summary: I'd like to think that Sennheiser headphones are normally reliable and I was unlucky in purchasing a lemon. It's volume feature stopped working in three days of moderate use. Otherwise, I would still give it another chance. The quality of sound is great.
Pros: Excellent sound, good looks, nice case.
Cons: Slightly less comfortable than other in-ear headphones I used.
Excerpt: Fits great. Owning the over the ear ones for a while and being extremely satisfied with those, I couldn't wait until these came out for daily use out and about. I pre ordered them and had to wait for about a month until they came out.
Summary: You are mostly paying for audiophile looks, a swappable cable with a mic, and a travel case. These are definitely the type of headphones you must "try before you buy" due to the price.
Pros: They look great and they fit my wife's ears perfectly (too small for mine). Works great with mobile devices. Comes with a really solid storage case.
Cons: Price, over-colored sound, poor low range definition (although plenty of "booming" bass which is very muddy), and very small ear cups for an adult male. I have used a few pairs of Sennheiser HD280's over the past several years, and in comparison, the sound quality of the Momentums is sadly disapp...
Summary: I has such high hopes for these phones and they really do sound great. But I'm so turned off by these being marketed as 'over-ear' when they're definitely on-ear that I'll likely return them. Trying the V-Moda M-100 as a replacement which I know won't sound as good.
Pros: Sennheiser has unmatched sound as always. Bass is rich without being overpowering or downright painful like some sealed headphones I've owned. Removable cables & controls are great.
Cons: These are marketed as 'over-ear' but unless your ears are tiny they aren't gonna fit in these phones. These are very much 'on-hear' headphones and if you're like me and wear your headphones for hours on end in an office these will get pretty uncomfortable after a while. I specifically bought what...

Summary: the signal seems to drop on a semi regular basis; though i like the layout for getting calls and changing volume levels. I would probably fuggest going with the mpow which has more bang for the buck!
Sound isolation is good. I can't hear any of the external sound

Summary: I must admit that I am a bit underwhelmed by these. Having read the reviews, I was expecting my socks to be blown off, but it is not the case. They sound okay, but then again so did my previous in ears (some Xiaomi Pistons, which, as you may know, are a quarter of the price of these).
