Conclusion: Bought replacement earpads for my senheizer momentum, but they ended up being impossible to attach even with a plethora of tools at hand. I had to use electrical tape and am now looking to replace my beloved senheizer phones when I can afford it. (Since they dont fit comfortable any more.)
Summary: This will be a very brief review because unless I discover otherwise, I will be returning these headphones to Amazon because the inline controls for smartphones do not work for Android phones; or at least my Motorola Droid 3. For $350, this shouldn't be an issue.
Not so good if you use this whilst walking along. One of the more disappointing headsets I've bought.

Summary: Not so good if you use this whilst walking along. If you're sat down listening they are decent. Pro -audio is reasonably detailed, though varies a lot with different sources of music. It's a bit more finicky than some ear phones I've had).
Summary: Have always purchased relatively cheap earphones before, but thought I would buy some fairly expensive earphones, especially considering I have recently started running. However, the quality of these earphones is ok but nothing special, especially considering the price.
Summary: Personally I quite like the sound but found the fit awkward. They stuck out too far, had a tendency to slip out and the ear bud covers dropped off more than any others I've owned. I'll go back to the cheaper model, they fit better
Mid range earphones by a respectable company that simply don't live up to their standards.

Summary: I've owned loads of earphones, including the Bose IE2, Sennheiser IE80 and I've owned and tried even more headphones. What I've always liked about earphones is that they usually offer better sound quality than headphones of equal value. This is not the case with the Sennheiser Momentum in ear.
Summary: The main problem about the momentums is the small size of their ear cups. I own a sony MDR-7506 and the earpiece is a good 20 - 30% larger. I would not mind the size, but the momentum hardly fits over my ears. At first I thought that I was sent the over ear one by accident.
Summary: Very briefly - ear cups too small for normal ears, sound quality very average, bass is ok but muddies into the mids too easily. Side by side with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x's, these are NOT as comfortable or as detailed, yet they are nearly twice the price.
Summary: These headphones may sound OK if you don't have anything better to compare against. Well, I've got my five-year-old Sennheiser PXC 450, which easily beat the Momentum in depth, width and audio pleasure. Granted, the PXC 450 was over 100 euros more expensive five years ago.
