Summary: MM70 i preferred more because of the more independent uneven headphone system which only had the remote placed on the left headphone. With this new model the remote shares the right and left headphone. Just not comfortable with the slight redesign.
Summary: bought these to get a good quality earbuds for my phone. thought sennheiser was the way to go because of history in audio business. the mic was an added bonus because it works with chat for my ps4 which is all its used for now. i cant use these for walking with phone bacause when in my trousers pocket the cable barely reaches and is constantly pulling buds out of my ears. i was furious, with this and it rendered them useless for what i wanted them for.
Pros: Great Sound, Good Bass, Comfortable, Lightweight,
Summary: I bought these as a replacement for my Klipsch headphones (which stopped working). I had high hopes but I have to say I'm slightly disappointed by a couple of things. Firstly, i generally wear headphones when I'm walking and these ones make a slight whistling noise as the air rushes over them. It's not that loud but definitely noticeable and not a problem that my Klipsch headphones suffered from. My second gripe relates to the buttons.
Summary: I'm generally happy with the sound from in-ear canal headphones. However, I absolutely HATE the fact that they use a 'straight' headphone jack. The rubber around the jack is very weak, and these headphones will not survive being kept in a pocket while connected to your phone/mp3 player. I much prefer the headphones that came with the 'hard' right-angled headphone jack (e.g. CX300 II) - which were much cheaper.
Excerpt: these are shocking! well the sound is great like the rest of the sennheisers, but the jacks straight plug in design is a real step back from their L shape ones on the cx300II s I upgraded to these at the advice of the accessories guy, and although i do love the inline controls and the sound quality (i didn't notice a huge difference tbo) I've had to replace 2 pairs of them in the last 6 months due to the jack casing splitting and a faulty earpiece...
Summary: The sound on these is so fantastic I don't feel safe wearing them outside when walking near a road. It blocks out all sound and you are just filled with the music. I was, however, dissapointed witht he length of the cord as it didnt even reach the pocket on my coat comfortably. I'm not especially tall, 5''7, and so I've never encountered this problem before. if you are wearing a short jacket or a suit then I expect these would be great for you.
Good, clear overall sound but bass is somewhat lacking

Summary: The overall sound is very clear and quite impressive, but in the bass region is rather muted for my taste. The actual earphones are comfortable and seem to be robust enough. It has taken some time to get used to having the controls on the left ear side (even though I'm left handed) but they are easy to use. I haven't had the device for long enough to be able to gauge how reliable they are going to be.
Summary: When my old Sennheiser's broke I originally purchased the Klipsch Image S4i Headphones to replace them as I had read great reviews on the sound quality and remote (my main reason for spending more money this time). I ended up sending those back as they were insanely uncomfortable and really left my ears in agony after using them even for a short while. I went straight back to Sennheiser and am so glad I did. These fit my ears perfectly and comfortably for long hours.
