Summary: The side buttons are hard to find when the phones are on your head. They are not in any intuitive place. The quality from the phones themselves is disappointingly dire. The noise cancelling is OK. Sennheiser are one of the best headphone manufacturers in the world, of that there is no doubt, but they have gone wayward with this set unfortunately. Maybe the Mark 2 will resolve these issues.
Summary: Got these a few days ago. Not happy. Would not turn on .tried a few times before success.then it turned itself off. This was after 3 hour charge Volume not very good. Have also tried the mm450 x travel but also hot happy, the battery kept pulling out when I took charge cable out. I am going to purchase Bose Bluetooth when Amazon sort out the credit.
Summary: Have had a number of Sennheiser headphones and have liked them all. Got some Amazon vouchers for my birthday and decided to treat myself. I do a lot of flying and these seemed to fit the bill. Having unpacked them I found them easy to set up band they were reasonably comfortable on the ear. However, within minutes I could tell that the sound wasn't nearly what I'd expected with a shallow metallic quality. Even with the noise cancelling turned on the sound was poor.
Summary: I was so looking forward to these headphones with the new apt-x codec. What a disappointment. Tried with both a new Macbook Pro, Nexus 7, iPhone 5 and wired. These lack volume, bass and just sound tinny. Comparing to my wired B&W P5 it's like chalk and cheese. These are lacklustre and the convenience of wireless doesn't make up for inadequate sound, especially at this price. YMMV, but for me these were a huge letdown.
