Summary: MY TEST SETUP: MP3-player: Sandisk Sansa Fuze Music: FLAC Amp: Portable FiiO E5 - easy to drive with an MP3 player (you don’t have to turn the volume high) - extreamly wide soundstage - not ideal for bicycle because the you hear the wind-noise.
Summary: For years the Etymotic ER-4 series, e.g., Etymotic ER-4P Portable In-Ear Earphones represented the top of the line among in-ear monitor headphones. Summary: I've just bought the IE8 and been trying it for 2 days now. the quality is great. It's the best in-ear earphone as far as I've tried.
I also own a CX500 ($50) so it's a good chance to compare the two.
Summary: The headphones sounded great.. awesome product for stepping stones to other high end earphones in the market.. though noise isolation could be better, i reckon that it would be great for biking or jogging. good to enjoy good music while being able to hear your surroundings..
Awesome Sound,Bass and Great Value for what I paid.

Summary: Best Headphones I have ever bought the IE8. I go through a pair every 2 years or so and gradually I spend more and more each time. The IE 8 has huge bass for any techno or Hip Hop Junkies and they fit my ears better then any other I had before.
Summary: One thing u should keep in mind in regards to these out of the box they will sound like a 50$ earphone but after a good burning u will be addicted to them. But its true that they take a lot of tome to really show their potencial.
Pros: BASS BASS AND BASS YEAH LOTS AND LOTS OF IT.
