This is a very disappointing start for Sennheiser's IE range, and it's difficult to find anything positive to say about them. Read more

Sennheiser's IE6 earphones look very promising, but the price lets them down. At around $200 I was honestly expecting a bit more. They do however match the earphones with a bundle that has you covered which is nice to see. No longer do you have to get third party shirt clips in order get rid of microphonic noise. Sound is very Sennish, very smooth with a good balance between the lows and highs, but ultimately a bit dull. If you value this more than details, then the... Read more

Not quite the same level of insight as Sennheiser's pricier IE7s or IE8s, but they remain a great purchase Read more

If ever the quality of a box reflected the quality of what’s inside, then the Sennheiser IE 6 box is it. The packaging for this noise-isolating set of earphones is astonishingly lavish - all curvy corners, magnetic clasps, and beautiful presentation. Read more

Without question, the Sennheiser IE 6s are a cracking pair of earphones at an excellent price point, ready to show Shure and Bose a thing or two about what it means to be earphones costing £100 Read more

Used with iPod for music and podcasts. I've had 3 previous cheaper earphones, never again. This is the first that "really" fit comfortably in the ear. The sound is incredible, great base. I have had Sennheiser PX100 headphones for 3 years, and absolutely love them. These are very high quality. Read more

I received these earbuds a couple of days ago and have spent considerable time tweaking them to get them to sound properly. I felt I should share what I learned because after my initial experience I thought they were terrible but eventually I got them to sound incredible. So here goes.... The ergonomics of this product are awful at first. It takes a long time to properly fit the earpiece to your ear so that you can put the earbuds in properly. For a product with this... Amazing sound. really good frequency response the cable started to rip apart in a month. Really did not expect this from sennheiser. this is my fourth pair of sennheiser Ear/Head phone and almost all of them have developed problems in under six months. Sennheiser Seriously needs to do somethig about their build quality Read more

  4. Cheap Quality Phones

I bought these head phones from HMV after seeing them on sale for £40 in HMV when they are £110+ everywhere else. I like them, they are of the standard that you expect with Sennheiser's but the design means that if youdon't like to wear them 'over the ear' then they can become uncomfortable and start to hurt the outer ear because they are so big. That said, Once I got used o the over the ear design, I was chuffed. I dont have to have the volume up as much either. I... Read more
