Summary: The name says exactly what it is! These are pro d.j. headphones. They sound as clean and crisp as a true hi fi sound system. Still cant get over the bass response and the ability to keep mids and highs crystal clear! Headband and ear cups fit me great and I have a large head.
Pros: Bsss! Crystal clear audio reproduction, great fit, great pro DJ headphones you get what you pay for!
Cons: Not really a con here. Just dont buy these for something with a small headphone power output eg. Phone, standard mp3 player, cd player these headphones want power. You wont truly get the best from these headphones unless you are hooked up to a quality mixer , reciver, or headphone preamp!
Excerpt: After sampling most of the high end headphones at the chain tech shops, and then extensive research online, we chose to order these without having heard them. After receiving them, their sound quality is truly high end, and the construction features of this model are a match to the sound quality.
Summary: I recently parted with my V-Moda Crossfade M-100 DJ Headphones and decided to move into something new. I had heard a lot about the Sennheiser HD 8 DJ and had a chance to own a pair for a Discount so I went for it!
Pros: Carry Case, 2 Cord Selections Exceptional Build Quality Great for Beat Mixing
Cons: Longer than expected Burn-in Period 2 sessions x 10 hours
Summary: I ordered these expecting excellence seeing as all the headphones I have ordered from sennheiser have been, they arrived quickly and very well packaged (if a bit over packaged). In the box were all that was stated to be there by sennheiser and the box and headphones were well presented as usual.
Summary: Just bought a pair today, totally blown away !! Detail and bass extension are incredible, but not in an uncontrolled and messy way, would consider these an excellent set of studio reference headphones and to be honest are just great to listen to.
Summary: First of all, these will be compared to a pair of headphones that I already own and love - Custom One Pros. If you want a short review: Bassy (not boomy), great vocals and awesome highs, without them being tedious. A long review: BASS Jesus. I thought my COP were bassy.
