Amazing sound!

  • Excerpt: These are some of the best headphones I've ever used. I've used several Sennheiser and Grado Labs headphones over the years, and the 380 Pros are my favorite. They are extremely comfortable, and have a very accurate sound reproduction, which is great for professional recording, as well as casual listening. These headphones are pretty compact with the folding design and case is a perfect fit. The headphones also do an excellent job at blocking outside noise.
  • Pros: Accurate Sound, Accurate Sound Reproducti, Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Versatile

Love these headphones

  • Excerpt: The sound is great, they cover the entire ear and do a great job cancelling out unwanted noise. Bought them for our boom operator and his eyes lit up when he put them on. Our producer is hearing impaired and said this specific pair is great for people with hearing aids since it covers the whole ear, so that's a plus as well!
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile

Even better than HD280Pro

  • Excerpt: Yeah, it folds wierd, but it folds flatter than my HD280Pro ever did. Sound isolation is great, clarity and reproduciton accuracy is incredibly good - if you want boom-boom-base, play music that has that on bumpy-junk headsets with too much equalization. These will sound light on base until you get to that track which actually has good mastering and orchestration. Very honest sound reproduction.

  • Excerpt: bought the blue cell pcx 450 pads and they are much more comfortable and improve sound. after installing them I do not understand why sennhieser didn't include them with these phones originally. These phones seem to deliver well below 20 hz and above the advertised 120 or so db. I am very impressed. I you like high quality techno these phones are for you.
  • Pros: Bass And Lots Of It, Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Noise Isolating, Versatile
  • Cons: none

I suggest this product

  • Excerpt: I mainly listen to pretty refined electronic music of all types. Some pop but mostly underground stuff. At first these headphones lacked volume but as time went on (15 hours or so) they began to sound more deep, full and loud. Many people complain about these headphones not having enough bass but I think they are just right. Although if you try to use them without a proper amp they will sound thin and without deep bass but still loud.
  • Pros: Bass, Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
  • Cons: Coiled Heavy Cord, Limited Functions

Simply outstanding

  • Excerpt: I shoot a weekly show outdoors in Oklahoma. Wind is a way of life. So much so that once you have the mic properly protected you still have to fight and differentiate from wind noise on your ears. These cans effectively eliminate that problem in most wind. They are nice to pack away in their well made protective case. And the sound quality is outstanding.

HD 380 Pro: A Versatile Headphone

Mark, B&H Photo
10 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I use several of these for monitoring recordings and also to listen to my digital piano after hours... I've tried many other headphones up to the $500-$600 range, and I can honestly say that the HD 380 Pros give me the best presentation on most of the voices on my instrument... A note about using headphones for digital pianos: Typical audiophile headphones are not always the best choice for listening to electronic instruments, as they can not always handle the sometimes...
