Highly recommended

Barry Hurley, Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: Excellent headphones, highly recommended. The range and sound quality is absolutely excellent. Extremely comfortable for wearing over long periods of time. Although they're not noise-cancelling, their closed nature does filter out a decent amount of external noise.

iDid Priya Rai (XBL), Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: I did my research before buying a pair of headphones, I needed a pair for just general home use and for travelling and these certainly do the job! They are extremely sturdy and have got a good build on them, more than what I can say for Beats Bt Dre Solo's, had a pair of them and they snapped in 3...

Excellent sound, but attenuation is not as advertised which limits use as monitors.

TPO, Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: I got these specificaly to be monitor headphones in my home drum studio. Previously I was using Apple in ear buds under DIY style ear defenders (JSP big blue). My requirements were to have good quality audio, but also excellent passive sound attenuation.

Great all round sound, and 'YES' amazingly these have bass

Mr. D. Kansara, Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: Although these headphones are stated that they attenuate sound to a degree of level is somewhat misleading. Yes they do prevent isolation of sound which was the main reason for purchasing them, but i reckon they only do compared to their cheaper models, as i have a pair of HD 205's.

Great price.........

Mr. K. Kelly, Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: I did a fair bit of research to find a quality set of headphones for studio use at a reasonable price. I can't understand anyone giving less than four stars in their reviews if they have a fully functioning pair of these headphones.

Excellent sound, comfortable for long periods, do lead some sound though

Mr. D. Campbell, Amazon
13 April 2011
  • Summary: Bought these because i wanted 'closed back' headphones that leak less sound, not annoy other people nearby etc. Great sound across the range, you might find you'll need to tweak your treble setting maybe These are not 'noise cancelling', but they do leak a bit of sound even for a closed back...

  • Summary: Fantastic headphones that produce crisp clear sound. Portable, very comfortable, well made, light weight and a perfect length cable for use with my laptop. Creedence Clearwater Revival now sound even better! Highly recommend.

Not sure who these are for...

Leiya, Amazon
12 April 2011
  • Summary: I'm an amateur composer, music producer and sound engineer. So I demand the highest sound quality out of my monitoring headphones. On the other hand, I also appreciate some of the cheap offerings out there, especially Apple's second generation iPod earphones, as I understand what they're supposed to...

4 and a half stars, read to find out why!

Robert Turnbull, Amazon
12 April 2011
  • Summary: When I first got these headphones I thought they were amazing, by far the most expensive headphones I'd ever bought, and the first pair of around ear headphones I'd bought, with by far the best sound quality.
