Summary: When I came to buying some new headphones I spent a long time researching, starting with Sennheiser and Sony as they are brands I have used before. I have previously used The HD 280 for sound engineering at university and found them very balanced and not to biased to bass or treble and almost bought...
Summary: After trying a few sennheiser headphones (including the wireless version, which left a background hum when no sound was playing - so were sent back) to play my electric guitar quietly at home.
Summary: I did a fair bit of research to find a quality set of headphones for studio use at a reasonable price. I can't understand anyone giving less than four stars in their reviews if they have a fully functioning pair of these headphones.
Summary: These headphones are just awesome. After a few hours of research I found these ones and (in their price category) there is no real concurrence. As I am no professional, I can only speak for "normal" users, but these headphones of the well known German firm Sennheiser are just amazing.

Summary: I brought these headphones as replacement and improvement on my old HD 205 headphones. After 2 years of service the 205's had failed at the jack; some kind of electrical connection failure. Shame, because for the money they are very good.
Summary: These Sennheiser's where my first pair of cans, and they didn't dissapoint at all: SOUND: I always find that over ear headphone review concentrate and the build quality and style, rather than the sound.
Summary: The headphones were everything I hoped for, and more...but unfortunately they fit a little too tight on the head which leads to your ears getting a bit sweaty if you're in a warm room. Also the cord is a bit annoying as its curled, I'm going to get that sorted and replaced soon.
Summary: The sound from these cans is superb and detailed. The quality is as good as my now rather ancient HD 595s, which I've used as my "reference" phones for some years, however, the bass is quite a lot more prominent. If you like rock music, these are a good choice for you!
Summary: Great sound quality. Good separation and detail. Uncoloured frequency response across the wide frequency range. And so on... The other reviews say enough about the sound. I was slightly disappointed in the look of the headphones when I first opened them.
Summary: Very pleased with the sound quality and bass clarity offered by the HD 380's, having upgraded from a 2-year old pair of HD 205's. As a closed back design they really allow you to get absorbed into the tunes you're playing and allow you to float along on the music.
