Summary: Got it today. Unamplified sounds like 30$ headphones, amplified far behind professional grade. Compared with Shure SRH840, Audiotechnica ATH M40FS, Shure SE535, Westone 4R. For amplification and sound processing been used: Behringer Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496 FIIO E17 Behringer MINIAMP AMP 800
Excerpt: A little over a month at home, not working almost exclusively with headphones, that's saying something if I tested a few, for now and for the price, this is the best I was in the hands (and ears). What I like the most? It is not wrong. Not disappointed, I can only advise.
Summary: I replaced my 10 year old legends (Sony MDR-V700's) with these bad-boys after much deliberation when they finally fell to bits at the hinges. In my opinion, these are bordering on perfection. Built to last. Aesthetically simple but cool-looking. Extremely comfortable and ergonomic. A screw-on gold-plated 1/4" jack adapter (which all headphones should have). Really surprising external sound cancellation and lack of sound leakage.
Summary: I'd been looking for headphones for my iPad and computer to listen to music and wanted a quality set this time so as to get the best out smething I enjoy. Prior to buying these I reviewed a lot of product on line cross comparing most leading brands including Bose, and AKG. In the end for this price range the Sennheiser HD 380 pro won out against Bose. Bose were very light and the most comfortable I'd ever worn but even they weren't up to the audio standard of these.
Summary: Excellent headphones, highly recommended. The range and sound quality is absolutely excellent. Extremely comfortable for wearing over long periods of time. Although they're not noise-cancelling, their closed nature does filter out a decent amount of external noise. They also don't leave much of your music out either, so they're great for an office-like environment where you don't want to disturb others.
Summary: Good pair of headphones, easy to wear and I have no probs using for hours at a time. Bought to mix / master with but alas, I fear the experts are right in recommending speakers to achieve this as I had to redo music after experimenting with these headphones. A good flat response though. Nice case and a good collapsing mechanism, though some instruction in how to do it would be welcome! Recommended but not for final mastering.
Summary: the sound quality is amazing. they are comfortable too. since they are collapsible i fear they might break but so far they have not. Comne with a nice box for transportation. Basically those are headphones i need to liksten to music on my laptop.
Summary: I bought these for use on film productions and they work a charm. The closed-cup phones do a good job at blocking out external noise, in fact they work a little too well because when I stop my sound recording i'm completely deaf. These headphones are probably better suited for studio environments rather than on location film shoots, I find that these large headphones can be awkward when wearing around the neck.
