Summary: The HD600 are very good headphones, but presently the same basic sound signature, but better can be had in the HD650, and the same exact sound 99.9% can be had for less money with the HD580. As such I don't see the value of the HD600 at this point in time. The sound is generally similar to the HD650, but with slightly grainier treble, slightly boomier midbass, and less powerful and extended low bass.
Summary: very overrated headphones, i find them dull, not involving, and somewhat dark sounding,im using them with a creek obh21 headphone amp maybe there not a good match with the creek headphone amp,im playing with the arcam cd 73 and denon 2900 player and they still give the same results, and for some to compair these headphones with 8,000 speakers they got to be on something,i own a pair of b&w 703 speakers($3,000) and they blow these away in every category,i know there...
Summary: Very Draining. Elation with a product mixed with buyers remorse. Let me start off by saying how incredible these phones sound. I don't think anybody could ask for more, save a little lower bass extension. What I can't figure out, is why Sennheiser builds such a great sounding headphone, but something as trivial as a short stymies it? I took a leap of faith that this 'problem' that is well known had been taken care of, and was told same by Headroom. Well it hasn't.
Summary: ive had these headphones for around about a year now so ive used them a lot and have had a lot of experience with them. first thing im going to say is that they are fantastic headphones and sound amazing. i have had a few problems with them however, not major but its problems that i could do without.
