Pros: These hit every range possible. The mids and highs are fantastic quality. The bass is really good. Really Pleased the 60$ spent on these head phones. The are really comfortable, I wore them for a 6 hour plane ride and were totally fine. Happy Customer.
Summary: My girlfriend has some HD555's, these are very comparable. If you compare these with an X-Fi to the HD555's on onboard sound then these are the clear winner. A head to head comparison makes things a little more complicated, but the HD555's are a better headphone by a little.
Pros: I've had these for somewhere around 3 years now and have never had any problems with the cans or build quality. They sound great. I've used them daily with an X-Fi, HTC Hero, and laptops and they sound great all around. The sound is very balanced with very crisp highs and warm lows. They are defi...
Cons: The cord is extremely long. Kind of a pain when you want to wear them with an iPod on a plane or some small devices. The connector is very big as it goes from 6.3mm to the 3.5mm using an adapter. Could be pretty annoying if you're trying to use with smaller devices or a laptop. I recently had to ...
Summary: I have had S HD 515 more than 2 months and more I listen, more happy I am. Before I bought it, I had Bose around ear headphones which delivered sound with too much bass, not so crisp high tones and not very good stage. I paid for Bose 110 euro while I bought HD 515 for 90 euros.
Summary: I find these headphones to be very comfortable. They have good depth, so I use them for the 'live performance'
feel. I also find them adequate on the airplane. The long cord is great even though at first I was annoyed when I used it on my Ipod.
Summary: First off, if you are looking for noise-canceling headphones, you are looking in the wrong place. These are open-back headphones -- meaning they will let all sound in and out... they are NOT built to be noise-canceling.
Pros: These headphones are AWESOME! They have such good sound quality and bass paired up with a good sound card. (x-fi,audigy etc). They are also very comfortable and after wearing them for awhile you start to ignore the fact that your wearing them..Or you don't even know there there. Great headphones ...
Summary: I also have a pair of HD212 and EH2200 Sennheisers. The HD212 have great bass and possibly over-all better sound quality, but are NOWHERE near as comfortable as these. I favor the HD515 simply because I can forget Im wearing them.
Pros: Let me start by saying this is my third pair of Sennheiser cans, and you really cant go wrong with any pair. Quality and sound are always good and this model is no exception. These are VERY comfortable and feel very sturdy even if they are plastic. Sound quality is good for the current price.
Cons: While lows and highs sound great, midtones seem to be lacking a little in this model over some other Sennheisers in this price range.
Summary: Newegg was rite on time. Too bad UPS got it to me a day late. The price was rite too. Would have gone with the 555 model but dont have a good enough sound card yet. Will probably upgrade my sound card then go with the 555's.
Pros: Wonderful headphone awesome sounds with the integrated sound from my mb. Even better when plugged into my home theater system.
Cons: Others can hear more sound outside of the headphone when using them than I like (purchased mainly to quit annoying girlfriend) but still sounds good on outside.
