Excerpt: Good for general use. It doesn't do much wrong and sounds pretty good overall; Nothing really stands out either. I guess given its low price, there isn't much to complain about. I personally prefer the HD201 over this model on the sound for the music I listen to. The HD201 resolves the midrange and mid-highs better and sounds a bit more special even with the extreme high frequencies rolled off. It trails the 429s on the bass.
Pros: Forgiving Sound, Good Bass, Good Value, Lightweight, Punchy
Excerpt: I bought this set of headphones for both personal and business purposes. The headphone seems durable. I don't like the positioning of the top cushion in relation to the earcups. It's set. One cannot adjust the angle of the earcups other than to roll the entire headset, and then because of the specified ear shape, the rotation makes the earcups fit less well if not uncomfortably.
Summary: If you've got a little more cash to spare, go for the higher models as the 429 is great for the price, but doesn't quite pack the punch, I see everybody rambling about how amazing they are, there great, not amazing, the VOLUME is a major issue, it's pretty darn low tbh, no pouch and stuff either, the only thing that makes it great is the sound quality.
