Summary: Awesome headphones, and although they are sometimes uncomfortable, that's just a good reminder to take a break from my work! I would definitely recommend these.
Pros: Although I am not an "audiophile", I am a classical musician who is very used to listening to a variety of music on a variety of speakers, and I can truly say that these headphones sound very good. These headphones replaced a Sony pair on which the plug had broken off, and at first I was a bit worried that the very thin cord might cause some problems, but I have had these headphones for several months now, and there is now sign of wear even after heavy use (my worksta...
Cons: I wear glasses, and these headphones do get slightly uncomfortable after long periods of time, which is the reason I detract one egg from my rating.
Summary: This is an awesome product. The sound quality is amazing out of the box, and keeps improving the more I listen to the hd428s. The cable is long, but come with a cable twist, which i use to keep shorter.
Summary: I've tried some of my friends' other brands and I found these to be more comfortable and more to my liking, mostly because of the price. These can be found elsewhere on the internet ~$10 less but you won't get Newegg support.
Pros: Very light on your head and very comfortable. My old, cheap headphones hurt my ears after 30 min or so, I've been wearing these for 4 hours as I type this and I can still feel my ears. The pleather material is soft and comfortable. Doesn't get hot even after hours of listening.
Cons: The cord is wirey. I don't care that it's thin (it is very thin), but it doesn't lay down nicely on my desk and has a mind of it's own.
Pros: Super comfortable, i use them with my computer mostly for gaming and these are amazing, great sound, can hear them for multiple hours and i don't even realize i am wearing them. jsut dont sit on them though
Cons: i sat on it and broke them first day lol, but they still work great the left ear just falls off every once and awhile, and the cord is a little thin for my liking.
Summary: It takes a little messing with, at least for me, to find a comfortable position to wear them. At first my ears would get sore right away, but now I can wear them for hours with no affect. I think it has to do with breaking them in, as well.
Pros: -Great sounds, highs mids and lows all come in great.
Cons: -Cord feels flimsy. But, then again, that doesn't mean it IS flimsy.
Summary: I was extremely happy with these. I'm no professional but I know what sounds good, and these definitely performed above my expectations.
Pros: Great sound quality with nice highs, mids, and lows. The bass is very balanced and there is no need for it to be any louder. When listening to multiple tracks, these phones are wonderful and super crisp. The are very comfortable thanks to the padding, the large amount of area for your ears, and swivel function. My cord was really long and I was very please with it so I don't know what people said theirs was short.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like about these phones was the small "cheap feeling" cord for them. I can be tough on cords but upon further examination the build quality on the cord was excellent. If I have any problems I will post an update.
