Excerpt: First, the pros: These are quality headphones. They are made well, fit tight to prevent sound leaking, but not too tight. Are relatively lightweight and reproduce sound well. However, the cons: when I compare them to my Shure SRH-440's they seem bright and lacking a tad bit of detail.
Excerpt: These headphones are comfortable and very good at noise-cancelling. When I have them on without audio and people are talking to me - I can barely hear them, which is perfect. They're a bit larger than I expected but this is my first pair of over ear headphones since high school.

Conclusion: Good earphones, but not the ones I ordered. Took over 3 months to get any replacement, was given a complete run around by the service staff. If you are looking to get the S HD 280 Pro, get them somewhere else. As for sound, very neutral.
Excerpt: Not the most comfortable for long periods, but great isolation. I use them for field recording and studio tracking. For the former, they fold up really well, making the kit a little easier to haul around.
Excerpt: These Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones were recommended by a friend who does lots of studio work. They sound great, seem to be built to last, and are comfortable to wear. What more do you want?
Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight
