Great for studio tracking or live sound

Dan Tarbill, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: Their greatest feature is that they seal well, so they're good for keeping the playback track from bleeding into the mic when tracking in the studio, or for sealing off the house sound when soloing channels while mixing live sound.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable

Good outside noise reduction.

Infrequent Flyer, B&H Photo
4 April 2015
  • Excerpt: Bought the first set (8/2014)for use on a cross country flight based on claims and reviews stating the amount of outside noise rejection, since jet engines really bother my ears. The price was very appealing.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Fold For Storage, Good value, Low Power, Outside Noise Reduction

Excellent head phone for studio tracking

Jose, B&H Photo
23 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I use the headphones primarily for tracking in my recording studio. Because the cover the ear and have a closed back, they block out the music in the room, and allow the player to hear the headphone mix clearly. They do not distort and have a fairly even frequency response.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable

Good sound quality and isolation

Alex, B&H Photo
18 March 2015
  • Excerpt: These do a great job of eliminating outside noise. Great sound, including low frequencies. Very comfortable to wear, although they're slightly heavy. The cord and jack are heavy-duty and seem they'll stand up to the rigors of regular pro use.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Bulky/Heavy

Quality but not what I was looking for

JC, B&H Photo
4 March 2015
  • Excerpt: First, the pros: These are quality headphones. They are made well, fit tight to prevent sound leaking, but not too tight. Are relatively lightweight and reproduce sound well. However, the cons: when I compare them to my Shure SRH-440's they seem bright and lacking a tad bit of detail.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Lightweight

I love these things!!

The Drumming Popmeister, B&H Photo
3 March 2015
  • Excerpt: Generally, I use AKG 240DF in the studio, and they're fantastic. But, I needed a closed back set of phones to track drums. The Sennheisers really mute a lot of the outside sound (as much as 32 db). I can hear the track and bash away without worrying that I won't hear the music well enough.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Use, Great fit, Lightweight, Versatile
  • Cons: None so far
