Excerpt: I am a video professional who needs a good pair of headphones to hear the audio that's being recorded by my camera. I need flat audio. I am not listening to music or for enjoyment. Even for editing, I want to hear a flat signal. That being said, these are really comfortable, over the ear headphones that perform well for the price. My first pair lasted 8 or 9 years.I think the only thing I don't love is that they are a tad tight.
Excerpt: I purchased these as a gift for my spouse and he has been very satisfied with them. He says they are very comfortable on his ears even after editing for 8-10 straight and the noise cancellation is excellent.
Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight
Excerpt: I love these headphones for monitoring and mixing when doing video editing. I love listening to music on these even more. I work in a somewhat noisy office environment, and these phones are VERY quiet. I sometimes can't hear when people are trying to talk to me. The frequency response is also incredible. You can hear deep bass as well as crisp details in the high end. I have had these for over 5 years and have yet to find other headphones I prefer.
Excerpt: Overall, we are pleased with these headphones. They are well made, and have a very clear and uncolored sound, which is want you need for studio headphones. The noise cancelling is very good also. They only drawback is the coiled cord that gets tangled up easily A straight cord (even if it was shorter) would be preferable. Also, they are a little bit heavier than we thought they would be and get somewhat uncomfortable after a long period of use.
Excerpt: I use it for school, and at home for when I am using programs such as Pro Tools, Logic Audio, FL Studio. The Sennheiser HD 280's are comfortable, not heavy, great for mixing, and highly recommended for musical work.
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
Excerpt: Really a rating of 3.5 stars. Sound is crisp enough for professional work. They are a bit heavier than the Sennheiser 202 that they replaced. Hopefully they will last longer, since the S202's break easily.
Excerpt: Amazing quality sound and construction at a fraction of the cost of the nearest competing product. The design is so perfect, it has remained unchanged for nearly 20 years. My first pair finally broke out after about 11 years and a lot of very hard use. The old speakers still worked, but they had been dropped so many times, it was too much for the housing. Not even tape could hold them together.
Pros: Affordable, Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Versatile
