Summary: Before buying these I'd been learning music production on Ableton for about 9 months and was merely using earplugs. After doing a fair amount of research I concluded these would be ideal for my purposes. After using them for the past 5 months I now fully understand why the professionals use these and can't recommend them enough.
Summary: Had a pair of these many years back, lent it to a mate who lost it, and have wept for it ever since. Finally reunited with these fantastic headphones, and this time round I've modified them slightly with red velour pads, and a longer red coiled cable. I've got a hd280 pro that I use at home, but for djing these are absolutely perfect.
so I probably don't need to tell you how good and sturdy these are

Summary: Their fame precedes them, so I probably don't need to tell you how good and sturdy these are. I use them mostly outdoors, for ambiance, nature, as well as voice recordings, and the isolation is great. The only negative is that I find them tiring to wear after a while as they are so tight, but I guess that's why they block out sounds so well. I couldn't use them as workstation headphones, for mixing or editing sound, as they give me a headache after an hour of use.
Summary: I used to own Beats Mixr headphones and they hurt my ears terribly, so I bought these in replacement and they are a world above. Better noise blocking, no pain, extremely light, and much much better sound quality. It's a perfect pair of headphones for public transport or just walking around. Love them!
Summary: The most amazing headphones ever made! I must point out that the sender didn't feel the need to put them in a parcel though. Merely sticking a postage label on the retail box - these headphones are expensive, please treat them (and the people who buy them) with a lot of respect.
