  • Summary: These are the best headphones for portable use that I have found. The detail is not as good as other headphones in it’s price range but the overall package of size, sound quality and durability make them the ultimate portable headphones. They have great bass impact, a nice punchy sound and isolate better than most headphones They do exhibit some sibilance at times. They make excellent DJing headphones.

  • Summary: I use my Sennheiser HD-25s for commuting. They are bigger than buds and canalphones, but smaller than the usual cans one would use at home or in the office. They are durable for sure, and have a split headband allowing one to adjust to one's head -- and they stay on your head quite well. You can rock with these phones. The HD-25s are a little uncomfy with a high clamping supra-aural factor, but with velour pads and some time, the discomfort is not a great.

ouch!!

  • Summary: These headphones were really uncomfortable for me. They seemed way too tight against my ears-they are the on ear rather than over ear type. I admit I do have a large head not elephant man or anything but I wear large in all head gear and I also have largish ears. I regrettably had to return them for this reason. I have since seen other reviews which mention this crushing effect on the ears probably written by big heads like me!

Great monitoring sound in general. But- poor quality construction and non replaceable cable

  • Summary: I bought these in May for occasional bedroom-studio Monitoring use. They have great bass reproduction and good highs, but the mids are sorely lacking. Roughly seven months later, and after two to three times a week of use; the sound started cutting out on the right ear. If I tug the cable gently the sound comes back. If I move my head even slightly the sounds cuts out again. :( Unfortunately the cable is a non serviceable item on this model. I am not impressed.

DJ sonstwer sagt zu Sennheiser HD 25 SP II

Yopi
6 March 2010
