Summary: On that note, the review suggesting these bleed music is rather misleading; I'm using them right now and with the sound jacked up to 100% on my desktop (certainly the loudest I'd comfortably listen to music anywhere), it sounds about the lowest possible speaker volume for my HTC Incredible-- hardly...
Pros: I've had these since I lost my old PX100 in Greece in May and they are an excellent upgrade/replacement. Plenty of spatial audio and excellent fidelity. The foam around the ears and the headband is extremely comfortable and considerably noise-cancelling without ever muddying the sound.
Cons: Only complaint is that these apparently require a bit of power, as I find myself cranking music up about 15-20% higher than I used to to get the same volume. Not really an issue, but may be a problem for those who like their music with an extra helping of loud.
Summary: I bought a pair of these, and a pair of HD238s after accidentally destroying my PX100s on a flight. The HD238s are a little brighter, and have a little less bass than the HD228s, but I planned to use the HD228s (because of the closed back design) at work, and the HD238s at home.
Pros: Outstanding bass response (unlike the PX200), excellent music reproduction
Cons: Not as bright as the Sennheiser HD238, or PX100
