Summary: The HD218 stereo head phones give a frequency response of 19-21,000 HZ in plain English catches the treble and base keeping the quality of the music. They are closed back on the ear which is a very comfortable fit. They are also guaranteed for 2 years which is very impessive.
Summary: Quite underwhelmed by these cans to be honest. I find the sound very muddy. Not the quality I was hoping for having been very pleased with Sennheisers in the past. I would say proceed with caution and try to get a listen to some before committing.
Summary: Sennheiser spoiling the consumer with great sound. good bass very comfortable and light and perfect size for a slightly larger head. Still when compared to my PX100's I fnd these are neither fish nor fowl. to small to be home hifi phones and too large to truly be pocketsized for my pockets anyway.
Summary: I started buying Sennheiser headphones a number of years ago and since purchasing that first pair I've never found reason to switch brands. The main reason for this is a simple one; comfort-wise I don't think they can be beaten.
Not bad,but flawed when it comes to rock and pop music.

Summary: When i chose these phones i was taking a gamble as i wanted headphones that isolate sound, but did anticipate that Sennheiser are more more prone to designing more open back than the opposite type headphones, plus the fact it is illegal to make isolated headphones that completely inhibit outside...
Summary: First I'd like to stress (because I didn't know) that these are ON-EAR headphones, not OVER-EAR ones. The difference is these will simply cling to your head and sit on your ears instead of surrounding your ears with a foam 'barrier'.
Summary: I always go for Sennheiser as the sound quality is great, however this is the third pair I've had which has broken due to the cable connection at the jack. My previous pair lasted 2 years, however these only made it 6 weeks.
