Summary: I see people are having comfort issues. Here's some tips... If ya can't fit em on your big grape(like me)? Get a blow drier and gently heat the crown of the headband. Pull out gently and hold. As it cools it will remain in that shape.
Pros: Great quality for the price. Outside noise is pretty much eliminated (I crank the volume always) Sound doesn't bleed out.. They are comfortable to wear for hours(See other thoughts below).
Cons: There are not any cons. For the price these headphones are sweet!
Summary: I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids for my daily life but not when I use the headphones. To enjoy music I like to use headphones without headphones I don't enjoy music as it doesn't sound like I know it should.
Pros: Having been musicly trained and working in live sound for 7 years I can, without hesitation say these headphones are amazing! They seal brilliantly and block out sound as good as most sound canceling headphones. I have been using them everyday for almost 5 years and outside of scuffs on the outsi...
Cons: I have bigger ears so the tops of the earcups sometimes squish the very top of my ears. If you have this issue just give the cups a little wiggle and it will fix it. I have noticed that the wires are starting to degrade at the plug, but for 5 years of constant use I'm fine with it!
Summary: I see the other negative reviews here and obviously someone didn't realize these headphones are meant for "Music Production". I consulted a lot of remixes and artists about these headphones and they all agreed for me to get them. Even my mentor who taught me music.
Pros: -Good Bass response -Good Highs and Mids -Good "everything"?
Cons: There are none. Wish I got these before I made a remix I made, because after I made it, and I used these babies to see what it "truly" sounded like, whoa. I hate to admit, my remix sounded not so good as I thought. Hahaha...but it made me a better producer of my solo material so now I know more o...
Summary: A few minutes tweaking software EQ adjustments to suit the headphones will be crucial or you won't be happy. That's true of any headphone but seems a little more important on these. Maybe a good thing really as you'll end up happier in the end.
Pros: At first I was not very impressed with the sound quality. After fiddling with the lousy Realtek EQ settings I finally got close to acceptable sound. I still need to fiddle some more. Not a fault of the headphones so I didn't ding them an egg. The long cord some don't like was a big plus for me. V...
Summary: What the duce? I had them in a bag and stepped on them on accident one day. The side that "doesn't swivel" did. I worried I broke them. Turns out I didn't. It may not be designed to, but the left cup will swivel by construction. Found that interesting. I would not recommend that!
Pros: The audio quality is fantastic. It comes with a mini to major headphone adapter that is attachable via threading and is gold plated. Equalizers are able to push this thing to the edge! They are not a deal but for the retail they are reasonably priced. There is hardly any sound leak. Crank it up t...
Cons: Pressure from the cups can overwhelm but the swivel can help relieve the pressure.
Summary: These are replacing my old HD 238's that broke on me from a random accident. Most new cans will give you a headache, so I have to break in a new pair all over again. Just a few more weeks of headaches will do...
Pros: Great bass response. Mid's and High's are good. These headphones are perfect for my taste in music, usually bass heavy. Build quality is excellent. And it does very well blocking outside noise. (These are NOT noise cancelling, don't know where the guy below me got that from...)
Cons: Headaches from the pressure on the side. Only the right cup is rotatable. I misunderstood and thought both sides rotate in to make them portable. To clarify, these are NOT very portable.
