Summary: So I've had these headphones for almost a year. I use them with my electronic drum kit, and the sound that these things produce at this price range is incredible. I hear all the highs, and all the lows. However, everything else about them is extremely lacking. They feel cheap, almost like im going to break them by putting them on. The plastic band is a solid piece and not adjustible(you can slide the ear pieces up and down, but they do not form to your head).
Summary: The first time i put these on and had a listen, i was excited about the quality of sound i was hearing for $15 (i got them from amazon), but 15 or so minutes later my ears became soar and a massive headache took over. I took them off, took some medicine and went to sleep for a couple hours, and the pain was gone, but i keep trying to wear them and mod them to make them more comfortable, but they won't budge.
Pros: sound quality is terrific, they are sleek, and indestructable
Excerpt: I use these headphones to monitor video recordings. They have a great range, which also make them great for recreational listening. I like that the overhead support is solid (leaving the earphones to be adjustable), but I really dislike the material they are built from. It is a cheap platic, off which the paint easily chips. Overall, a good product for the price.
Summary: Was an impulse purchase. Have not owned a Over-Ear Headphones so not sure how it compares to other models. Works fine for my use which is to watch movies without bothering other folks at home during night. Is not very comfortable but then it is going to be person specific. I think it is worth the price I paid for it during a sale.
Summary: I am using this Headphone for last 2 weeks . I find my experience quite pleasing as a music lover. The bass is quite Good. Mids are Clear. and Highs do shine a little (better then average for closed back Headphones). It has 32 ohm impedance which makes it suitable for iPod. But I bought it for sound monitoring purpose so that i can use it in mixing(i was searching for cheap alternatives for Shure SRH1440 or Shure SRH440 or AKG K44), in which I am having a lot of trouble.
Summary: UPDATE these headphones are cheap & nasty i do not have a large head and my ears are small yet these hurt, the sound is ok and the cable is a good length i wish people would stop complaining about the length of the cable it says how long it is so what are you moaning at can you not read the description, anyway after around one hour the sound goes very low so i am sending them back, and i have just received a pair of philips shl5905gy/10 headphones for £10.32 extra and...
Summary: I recommend you to skip this product. You go for either hd201 or higher than 203. Its a bit cramped and not comfortable for a headphone. Clarity is ok but bass is weak compared to in ear such as sennheiser cx180. Skip both hd202 and 203.
Summary: Slightly small ear pieces but overall seemed to be of good quality and sound. Very happy with the purchase, however after 15 months of light use the right ear piece has stopped working - disappointing.
Excerpt: I was bought these as a present 2 years ago, mainly so I coud use them to practise playing bass through without blasting my neighbours through the wall on my amplifier. The sound re-production on them is great, very clear and rich. They have a very bassy sound making the overall sound of anything played through them very chunky, the sound of a bass drum through these headphones is immense.
Pros: Great sound, storng bass tones, nice long wire, very comfortable
