Summary: For the amount that it would cost to send them to Sennheiser (about $10) plus the 2-week service time, it doesn't pay to have a pair of $14.99 headphones serviced. I will still shop with Newegg though.
Pros: Great sound. You don't have to crank the volume higher to experience the full range from bass to treble. Came with 60-day warranty.
Cons: I bought two pairs at once. One pair still works. The other pair went out 65 days after it was purchased. To be precise, the right-side stopped working. If it had gone out 5 days earlier I could have tried to get an exchange from Newegg.
Summary: I use headphones 6+hrs a day at my desk while I work and even though these sound great, I just can't use them all day, which is really annoying. So I can't recommend them for long term use.
Pros: Great sound and bass. I heard bass that I didn't even know existed in some songs before, but it wasn't overpowering either. The sound quality is 10x better than my Sony MDR-V150's. Very good exterior sound muffling capability for it's price.
Cons: After about 2+ hours of listening my ears were in pain! They are an over the ear design and my ears are just slightly larger than the earmuff (and my ears are avg size), so it causes a small pressure around the ear. Which at first isn't noticeable, but over time my ears began to hurt so much that...
Summary: I got this pair of headphones on sale for $20, I think for that price its a very good deal, but for $40 I would recommend you wait until these go on sale or look at a different pair of headphones. RATING: 3 eggs. reason for marked down: Cord seems weak, and cheap build quality.
Pros: the Pros on these headphones are: Great sound quality, and their comfortable like my old sennheiser in ear headphones their very nice
Cons: The actual build quality of the item seems to be a little cheapish, Plastic, and the cord isn't as thick as I would've liked it to be, also Keep in mind that these are ON EAR headphones and not Over ear, this isn't clearly stated in the description of this item,
Summary: Not to bad of a deal. I did expect hight quality, these appear to be the low end of Sennheiser headphones. I would not pay $40 for them. Sound quality isn't to bad, but bass response in not as good as advertised.
Summary: Every review I've ever read of these states: "For the price, these can't be beat." And I agree, but "for the price" is a relevant caveat. Bass is pronounced, more so than my MDR-V6's, but is somewhat muddy, especially in the 125-500Hz range.
