Conclusion: I had the previous model. I think the hallmark of these phones is their durability. Bass response could be a little better, but these are very well made phones that will last as long as you want them to. This is a problem with many of the phones I've had in the past. Shorts in the wire, plastic breaking, etc. Never happens with these HD 202 IIs. That is very important to me. My one con, would be adjusted at their widest point, they are still a bit too tight on my head.
Excerpt: These live on the home entertainment center. Good sound reproduction, decent bass. Comfortable for wife and daughter, not so much for my big head. I will be ordering another pair for HEC. Excellent value and quality.
Excerpt: Always wanted to pick these up, just got it as a early xmas present and i have to say they dont disappoint! pretty light and not too heavy on the head, and they do not bother my ears after long usage. (like skullcandy's, ex. mesh/g1's) the design is very nice and stylish, im not a big fan of big head phones that are wide on your head but these are exception. the cushioning on top of the head and ears are very soft and nice and the sound quality is great!
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Excerpt: I really like these headphones but I must be used to open/semi-open headphones as I own the Sennheiser HD280 and 202 MKIIs now and both sound a bit muddy but I guess that's the nature of closed cans. Overall I like these headphones. The cord is very long but I wish it was a little thicker as it seems easy to break over the years. Only time will tell on that one. The pads are very good and so I give it a high rating for Comfort but fit is a bit strange.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Value, Lightweight
