Summary: Previous headphones started failing, my requirements for a new set were 1) durable (earpieces & cable) 2) comfortable 3) at least avg audio quality This set meets 3 and 2 so far, and I won't know 1 for a while. Set is decent overall. I'm not a huge fan of cupping the entire ear, although it's not been uncomfortable, just a bit odd to get used to when you're used to headphones sitting on the ear.
Pros: Fairly decent headphones. Got another pair when they were 12 bucks you can't beat them at that price. Bass isn't amazing but what do you expect for 20-30$ headphones. I use them with my desktop. They aren't great for music but sound quality is fair for games and movies. Long cord, I find them comfortable when I game for multiple hours they don't hurt my head like other headphones I've owned.
Cons: Wire is rather thin and bass isn't great. Besides the wire being a little thin I would say the way they adjust isn't great but it hasn't caused any problems as of 6 months.
Summary: Construction is pretty cheap. I got these for $12+tax and I must say it is well worth the money. With the circumaural design, you can wear these hours on end without having discomfort. For the price, I would be hard pressed to find anything better.
Excerpt: I was looking for a cheap pair of over the ear headphones to replace my worn out generic ear buds. I bought these on Amazon a few months ago for around $20. These headphones are one of the best purchases I have ever made. They are not noise cancelling, but they cut out around 90% of background noise. I can be sitting in the office playing a game on my computer, and I cannot hear my wife sitting behind me at her desk watching Netflix or listening to music.
Excerpt: This headphone is great for HOME use. These are delivering great sound at a great price. The only problem with these heaphones are that if you are hearing it everybody's hearing it. that is what makes these great for home use. another problem is that these headphones have a very long chord (like most sennheiser headphones). A great thing about these are that the ear cushion and top cushion are very comfortable for any use.
Excerpt: I read so much about these headphones around the time of Black Friday 2010. People were going on and on about it being the best budget earphones you'll ever buy at its price point and all that hype. It got me really curious about these headphones. It was pretty much a battle between the HD201 and HD202, everyone recommended the HD201 for it's clarity and accurate sounds, while the HD202 are for bassheads.
Excerpt: This is a good introduction to Sennheiser headphones. They are not indicative of Sennheiser's best quality, however, as Sennheiser caliber headphones can go a lot farther than these HD201s can. These HD201s can play music just fine, although bass is lacking and my biggest complaint is this: the headset snaps a little too tight on one's head. Quality and build quality is all moot if the headphone is not comfortable.
Sennheiser - HD201,great bang for the buck headphones.

Excerpt: These cans are great, rarely going for more then 20 bucks, they provide a lot of bang for your buck. They are by far not the best headphones you can get,but most people will be satisfied with the sound quality of these.Construction quality is more then what you would expect from 20$ headphones, but I wouldn't call these durable, not something you can throw in and out of backpack without consequences.
