Excerpt: I've been using a pair of these for a couple of years. I started out using them at my computer for listening to music and video editing. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and sound pretty good in a quiet environment.
Excerpt: I've needed a pair of decent sounding, inexpensive headphones for the gym. I tried the Sony MDR-ZX100 and thought they were awful, and wrote a review accordingly. Decided to try these Sennheisers for a little more money. Wow, what a difference.
Summary: These go on sale periodically. You might want to wait for the sale price if you're looking for a super-good value. I paid twenty plus ten for my pair.
Pros: I really like these. I've been a fan of Sennheisers for literally decades, and these don't disappoint. They're comfortable to wear and sound really excellent to my (admittedly aged) ears -- very crisp sound. The long 3-meter cord is very convenient for when I'm listening to the TV from across the...
Cons: I have relatively large ears, and it would be nice if the earcuffs were maybe a few millimeters larger, but that's literally splitting hairs :-)
Excerpt: I've only used a handful of headphones, but for a small price, I like these the best. They never hurt my ears, like many headphones, and I feel like the audio is well balanced. It doesn't have a ton of bass, and I like that for working with audio.
Pros: Good sound, fit's over the ears, comfortable. I use these all day long and my ears don't hurt like on the ear kinds do. I listen to them using my smartphone (mostly pods casts) and they are great.
Cons: Cord is really long but I just keep it bundled up near the jack. My phone uses the cord as a FM antenna and for some reason the signal comes in fuzzy. Haven't tried other headphones yes cause it's a new phone.
