Summary: This was a big upgrade coming from the Corsair 2100 wireless headset. That headset was terrible for listening to music and just ok for playing games. Using the Sennheiser G4ME ONE headsets paired with the Sound blaster Z sounds amazing for both gaming and listening to music. They are very comfortable and lightweight. These headsets feel really well built and we will see over time how good they durable they really are, but for now I am very happy with the purchase.
Excerpt: Ordered this headset based on my previous experience with Sennheiser. These replaced my ageing PC350's which, although still sound great, the earcups have seen better days. I miss my PC350s already. The G4ME ONE has lackluster bass and explosions sound hollow. I've tried onboard sound (which I was using previously) and two other sound cards. Upgraded drivers and never did find what I was looking for.
Pros: Convenient Mute, Convenient Volume, Plug and play
Cons: Expensive, Hollow, Not The Most Comfortable, Terrible Bass
Summary: Fantastic headphones in their own right. They definitely benefit from a headphone amp though. Don't expect booming bass without one, but with an amp..... AWESOME!! The mic is great and solid-feeling and it turns off automatically when you tilt it up which is convenient frequently. Friends report that the sound quality on their end is great. Very clear and good volume. I use it with my Xbox One and my PC and it works great in both situations. Highly recommend.
Summary: Amazing headset! The sound quality is incredible, even without a sound card. The ear cup material is soft and comfortable, but the headset was a little tight when I first got it. A few days later, it stretched out a bit. To get the most out of these stunning headphones, combine it with a sound card and it is unbelievable.
Summary: These headphones have the best frequency response I've heard in quite a while. The people that say the "bass is terrible" are used to smile curved headphones that have very odd frequency response and aren't really sure what real full bass/mids are. The bass is excellent and not cranked up to adjust for shoddy speaker quality, like lower quality headphones. You'll hear sound as the original recordings were meant to be played, not with artificially enhanced equalization.

Summary: you defanetely need an amplifier to drive these guys and while they do sound REALLY amazing the price is extremely high for the quaility of sound. $240 for these? lol no. if you can find a pair of turtle beach Ear force HPA2s on ebay for $50 they are easily just as good as these or better. Dont buy into all the marketing hype these things are good but not $250 good.
Summary: Pros: -Very comfortable for long periods of time. -Easy to adjust and sturdy construction. -Light weight yet durable -Fantastic microphone Cons: -Microphone must be engaged for speakers to function -Not nearly loud enough even on max setting -Bass is terrible -I never felt submerged or immersed in these headphones. Conclusion: Having bought several high end earphones and this being my first headset, I will stick with a 70 dollar pair of skull candies.
Summary: Cons: Volume knob was noisy, left ear would drop out when the volume was adjusted. Sent back immediately for a replacement. Build quality not what I would expect for something this expensive. Pros: Ear pads are comfortable. I am going to give it another try but not impressed at the moment.
Could not justify the cost. Sounds the same (to me) as my $40 headset

Summary: Got a wild hair and decided to purchase these. They are super comfortable and sound great but buyers remorse caught up to me and i had to return them.. My $40 Turtle Beach px22 headset sounds just as nice (to me) but gives me the option to split chat programs and game audio and have the ability to change volume of both with knobs on the inline amp. I just cant justify $200 for less functionality and better sound quality that i personally do not notice.
