Summary: The great thing about these headphones is that it is built for easy part replacement. If you were to cut your wires, you can get a cheap replacement wire and just plug them back in. Other people complain about the strength of the frame.
Pros: The sound quality is GREAT on these. I got these about 3 months ago and are still my favorite headphones out of the 6 others i have (2 over ear, 4 earbuds, 1 behind neck). I've listened to all kinds of music on these, anything from rock, to techno, and even country unfortunately.. :) I've Compare...
Cons: The cord length is like 9 feet long or something. I use these when I walk around a lot and I have to keep the cord in a twist tie. Not sure why they did that.
Pros: I don't see what all the complaints are about... anyone who says these are tight must have some pretty big heads, it fits me nicely. Very snug, with some room to spare for my big-headed friend. Sound quality is great, can't get any better for the money.
Cons: Plastic feels a little cheap, though I got it for a really good deal so I can't complain.
Summary: Cord is ridiculously long. This can be a pro or con depending on how much cord you need. It's useful for me because it lets me listen to music or watch movies from my bed across the room.
Pros: Sound is superb. With some equalizer adjustments, I get a nice full range of crisp clear audio. Sound quality is better than the Bose tri-ports I used to own (before they broke because of cheap flimsy build). Very light. Feels comfortable enough. Been wearing them for about 4 hours straight now a...
Cons: Plastic build feels cheap. Hopefully these will last me.
Summary: I'm an audiophile, I mix and produce music and love high end equipment. I'm glad I bought these and will keep them around. They sound great on my headphone amp, great on my mp3 player, and great on my computer.
Pros: Very clean sound, good imaging, full range, great bass with solid mids and clean highs not too sharp. They make great monitoring headphones for my mixing work, sound far superior to my computer speakers and please me greatly.
Cons: I was over expecting and these fell short, but nothing to hold against them in any way! I see nothing wrong with them at all in reality for the money, they compare very well against previous sets purchased in the $150-$200 range.
Pros: Insanely high quality, comfortable headphones for under$50? Also, I ordered this product and received it from Newegg.com within 18 hours of ordering despite the fact that I had never selected anything other than the free shipping option I was offered. Spectacular, Newegg.
Summary: The plastic seems a little tight so ears do start to hurt after an hour or two. Could just be I don't have them adjusted quite right.
Pros: Very nice headphones for the price. Got them a few months back for just over 50. Sound great. Clear highs and lows and no funny muddy sound that you get with cheap headphones. Ear pad adjustment is nicely hidden. 10 ft. cord is almost too long. Also, most of the parts are replaceable through Senn...
Cons: With lower quality music the headphones sound a little funny. Not the headphones fault but the music.
Summary: These were $50 + shipping which is great since the 250s are the same price. If you want more punch get the HD555 or grab an amp from headphone.com
Pros: Comfortable and sleek. They fit my melon quite well and do not block out every little sound outside of them so you can still hear your friends / spouse in the room. They are not as punchy as the Senhheiser HD555 or even 650, but they work really well. I use them on my xbox 360 through a Teak amp ...
Cons: Not the most punchy and take a while to figure out how to fit them nicely around your ears.
Pros: I have owned several headphones over the years, and these are amongst the best valuve I have owned. I purchased these to use with my mp3 player and was impressed with the fidelity. I tried them on my receiver and was very satisfied with the sound. Vocals are very clear and concise. Was going to p...
Cons: Only thing I don't care for is the length of the cord. It is about 9 feet long. For listened to a receiver it would be great, but for using an mp3 player it is a little long. Other that that it is fine. Knew going in that cord was long.
Summary: I had some cheap labtech headphones before this that were an amazing value for what they cost, and I thought the sound was really good. Using those, I had altered my Winamp equalizer to boost the low and highs. I thought the music I listened to sounded great. Then I tried these out.
Pros: Crystal Clear sound, modular construction (can replace ear pads, wires with little trouble), low power requirements.
Cons: Sometimes the cord seems a little too long, and this model doesn't come with a cheap plastic device to wrap it up as some other Sennheiser phones do. But that's hardly an issue for me...
