Like the idea.

  • Summary: This would be a great product if they just fixed the design flaws. I still use them because it works great rigged up with my Samsung Pebble.
  • Pros: Almost a great design, decent sounding, good price.
  • Cons: I'm 6'3" tall and if I use it like it's intended, it pulls the headphones out of my ears. They should have made the cords to the earbuds longer. I ended up tying a knot in the back to get them so they don't get pulled out. The other complaint is how they connect to your mp3 player. I could not ge...

Tall people need not bother

James M., Newegg
16 May 2009
  • Summary: If you have a short neck and find this design fits in with how you know you will use your mp3 player, it's not a bad buy. Otherwise, avoid.
  • Pros: Relatively good build quality. Nice silicon carrying pouch. Nice design ideal in theory.
  • Cons: I am 6"1", and the length of the cords from the earbuds to where they connect to the lanyard is too short. The earbuds dont reach my ears, and when I put them in, the immediately get pulled out by the weight of the mp3 player. I can avoid this by tying a double-knot in the lanyard around my neck,...

  • Summary: The lanyard is good when sleeping. =P
  • Pros: Really nice clear, crisp sound. Bass isn't that loud, but I like it that way.
  • Cons: Cord is incredibly short. It's hard to even use my ipod shuffle.

  • Summary: This is the first time I have been disappointed with a purchase through Newegg. I would have been better off making my Zune and headphone purchase locally.
  • Pros: None if this item is intended to use with a 120GB Zune.
  • Cons: These headphones are intended for use with an MP3 player that can be worn around the neck. The Lanyard style is not compatable with a Zune. Save your money, I wish I had mine back!

Maybe not for you???

Carl D., Newegg
16 April 2009
  • Summary: Don't try and make it do something it is not.
  • Pros: If you have something bigger than a Sansa Clip (my personal favorite) this is not for you. You clip on the player and leave dangling like a necklace. How many times do you momentarily take out your earbuds to hear someone speak or listen to something else? I do all the time and what I like about ...
  • Cons: sound quality not as good as $100+ phones

IT'S A LANYARD STYLE, DUMMIES

Anonymous, Newegg
6 April 2009
  • Summary: I would have given only 4 'eggs' except that I felt I needed to offset all the dummies who wanted to use a lanyard-style with their player in their pocket or arm... DUH!
  • Pros: If you have a small/light portable player and you want to hang it around your neck for easy access then these are the earbuds for you. The lanyard has a small tether that fits into the 'eye' of your device from which it will hang without putting stress on your cord. Sound is very good, and the ti...
  • Cons: If you have a long neck you may have to put a knot on both ends of the rubber lanyard to bring it a bit closer to your ears. During work the buds would occasionally pop out of my ear canals but once I put a knot in the ends it's all good. No directions... that stinks, and is probably why so many ...

Fits a particular purpose for me.

Anonymous, Newegg
20 March 2009
  • Summary: I plan to use it while mowing where any extra cable length can be a hindrance and often dangerous. The short cable, neck strap and lanyard are just what is needed.
  • Pros: The short cable and neck strap makes this perfect for how I intend to use it. It is comfortable and well constructed
  • Cons: The length of cable was mentioned in the specs but I could see how a purchaser could easily miss this.

Not for those with a long neck !

Elton T., Newegg
19 March 2009
  • Summary: I think I wdifferent lanyarill keep looking for a lanyard type headphone setup, it seems like a good idea. However, I would make extra sure your MP3 player is suitably small to wear with it or you will look a nerdy version of Flavor Flav.
  • Pros: They have DECENT sound and are great deal if you have a normal or short length neck.
  • Cons: Earbud cords are too short by about 1/2-1 inch coming off the neck lanyard. I am 6'2" and have a long neck, the buds fall out frequently from the weight of the MP3 Player. They work great for my girlfriend though.

Better than my stock W810i HPM-70

Alejandro C., Newegg
16 March 2009
  • Summary: These proved to be a nice replacement for my HPM-70 earphones for my W810i. I use them an average of 6-8 hours a day on week days.
  • Pros: The sound; they feels well constructed.
  • Cons: The design, It doesn't stay in my ears and keep popping out at times. A small technicality I can live with.
