Summary: I am going to keep this short.
SOURCE: Cowon C2
320 Kbps Mp3 and Flac files.
- Fits my ear properly. I am sure, whatever i do, they won't fall off.
- Isolation, is good.
- I feel that based on the shape of ear canals this could turn out to be a nightmare for a few people to wear.
- Just a flimsy pouch and three tips
- Looks and feels cheap when you hold it in hand. Doesn't feel like a $70 product.
- Cables are thin and tangle prone.
Pros: Comfort(it is subjective), Isolation,
Cons: Tangle prone cable, No chin slider, Might be extremely uncomofortable depending on shape of ear canals, Feels cheap, Sound quality
Summary: I bought CX 685 not for running/sports but for a quite opposite reason; To use it in the library or while travelling, reading or simply watching movies etc. It's been a year since I am using them occasionally, so I think it's about time to review them. I need to mention in advance that I am not into in-ear phones, bought this pair a year ago to introduce myself into the "new era" but eventually I failed to adapt. (And returning to my PX 100 ii and my old MX370's.
Summary: I've bought sound isolation headphones in the past and these are okay but not as good as previous Shure ones I've had. I think of "sound isolating" as being able to listen to music in the gym without ramping up the volume. With these phones I have to turn up the volume a wee bit more than I would like. So not that impressed from that point of view.
Summary: Well, the headphones aren't bad but for the price 30ish pounds its not the quality i was expecting. Sound quality wise they are okay. They cant produce good base as advertised. Bit over priced and the wire used too then!!!
Not the improvement from the CX 680 I was hoping for...

Summary: I was a big fan of the previous version of these, the CX 680. Unfortunately, I don't think the CX 685 are better, I would actually say it's a downgrade. On first impressions, the new adjustable ear fins are not as comfortable as the changeable rubber fins of the previous model, it is going to take a while to adjust to them. I have no doubt they will stay in the ear whilst exercising, the CX 680 was brilliant for that, it's just that you are constantly aware of them.
Summary: Het geluid is goed en de microfoon werkt goed.
