Sennheiser Adidas Sports CX 680i
27 February 2015
Summary: I'm still in limbo as to weather I should buy a pair of the CX 685's and give them a try. They're certainly cheaper.
Pros: Please read this. The headphones fit fairly well in my ear canal and if you are like me and the biggest concern you have is keeping your ear buds in while running then they will most likely do the trick for you(I run about 4-10 miles a day at a 6:30 mile pace depending to give you some reference)...
Cons: The headphones did not work. I plugged them into several audio devices and received a very muffled sound. I tried them out for a couple of days to see if they would work and they didn't. I have heard the sound quality from these headphones while using a friends pair and it was "decent". Also the ...
Pros: These come with a good assortment of tools to customize the fit to your ear. They fit comfortably and don't slip out.
Cons: Casing to one of the earphones broke within 3 months of very light use. I would not expect this from sport headphones. Volume control placement on the cord is very poorly designed. Should either be a bit lower or much higher. Weight of volume control can pull headphones out of ear if the wire isn...
Summary: After all that, I have to say I will continue to buy products from both Newegg and Sennheiser, as I have enjoyed many 5 star purchases in the past.
Pros: I liked the idea of the fins and still do but the plastic seemed brittle around both ear buds and broke away in small pieces. So now I'm still using them along with another set I had purchased from Sennheiser via newegg that were also labled Sports, these were ones that formed around the ears and...
Summary: I have to say I am disappointed in the sound quality of these headphones. They are tinny & give a poorer sound than my much cheaper JVC ones. They are truly strongly constructed and stay in the ear for sports but that alone is not enough.
Summary: Whilst these headphones have decent sound quality and are comfortable for weights sessions in the gym, they are TERRIBLE for running and fall out quite easily. I tried various combinations of the different sized buds and support curves - but nonetheless they fall out far too easily.
Summary: I was very dubious about these as there were many mixed reviews. I just simply wanted a pair of headphones that would not fall out when running at the gym and as my current Sennheiser in ears are fantastic I thought they would be great. The sound was just as I expected - no problem there.
How would you feel if your headphones stop working mid-Marathon?
1 February 2013
Summary: I loved running wearing these headphones. Sure, there are better (and more expensive) ones out there, but none of them at this price bracket with this fit on your ears. If you want a pair of headphones for your marathon training get this one. BUT.
Summary: I'm really sorry to have to add to the negative reviews, this is the first time I've been really let down by Sennheiser, but let down I most certainly have been. I've had a pair of Sennheiser CX 300's for 6 years, and they've been faultless, they've been round the world with me, screwed up into a...
Summary: I had very high hopes of these earbuds, but the simple fact is that I haven't got on with them because they won't stay in my ears. The fin itself is quite happy to wander out of my ear, and after several weeks of trying every different combination of the 3 sizes of both bud and fin, I've come to the...
