Sennheiser CX 400

The CX 400 from Sennheiser is a noise isolating set of in-ear headphones, which are also called ear-canal phones. This high quality pair of earphones are the successor to the previous Sennheiser CX 300. The CX 400, which is part of the manufacturer’s “Classic” line of headphones, features all-around improvements over its predecessor, specifically in the clarity of audio reproduction and in the reduction of ambient noises.

The small and lightweight CX 400 feature comfortable ear buds which plug in to the wearer’s ear canal. The in-ear design blocks out unwanted ambient noises and accentuates the low frequencies. It has a powerful dynamic speaker system which further improves bass and high frequency sound reproduction. The CX 400 also has gold plated plugs for more efficient electrical contact. The earphones are ideal for use with portable media players.

The Sennheiser CX 400’s cable measures approximately 2 feet, making the earphones ideal for use with armband portable media players or in-line remote controls. The standard package also ships with a 3 foot extension cable. Other accessories included in the box are a cable clip, carrying pouch, 3 ear adapters of different sizes (small, medium and large) to ensure the proper fit as well as a cable winder which has recessed compartments to better protect the earpieces.

The CX 400 is available in white or black color schemes with silver trim. Each ear piece has a stainless steel ring wrapped around it as a sleek design touch.
