Excerpt: I bought these as my "walkman" headphones. I needed a new pair because my last pair began losing contact someplace in the wire. I am a pretty discerning music listener but have largely given up on trying to find a good pair of earbuds out of frustration. The frustration that comes from trying to find the right pair simply by reading internet reviews.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Value, Lightweight, Stylish
Excerpt: I bought these Sennheiser CX 200 earbud headphones just to have an extra set around the house. For the price I bought them for (on sale), I would say that these headphones are of decent quality. They have lasted quite a while and I don’t worry about them breaking. Do these stand out above other earbud headphones that I own? Not really. The sound from these are a significantly lower volume from the Creative brand headphones that I own.
Excerpt: Sennheiser CX200s are perfect for casual listening. I se them to escape the ambient world. I was gifted a pair of Dr Dre earphones which are also fine quality but for the price my lady spent versus $ for these I see a no brainer here. Fine ans solid these are. You cant go wrong.
Excerpt: I purchased these as an alternative to high quality full ear headphones for monitoring audio for video. Sennheiser is certainly a trusted name in audio but these headphones do not measure up. I A/B'd them with an inexpensive set from the check out line at a grocery store for about 1/3 the price. The CX 200's had a tinny pinched sound. My cheapos sounded like studio monitors in comparison.
Excerpt: i bought these headphones brand new for cheap (8 dollars). let's jsut say that there's a reason why they are so cheap. specificaly, they are cheap because people are not buying them. they are not buying them because these sennheisers have a lot of cord noise. what do i mean? well, if you are jogging or walking (which is when you typically want light headphones over a full-blown DJ headset with cups) you are going to move the cord and it's going to swing left and right.
Excerpt: I spent a lot of time with some Grado SR-80 headphones, which sounded fantastic, but not only could I hear all of my music but so could everyone around me. While in school I needed something that would block out as much noise as possible while also not blowing out my eardrums. The CX200 are perfect for that. Because they are somewhat in ear headphones you don't have turn the volume up much at all Yay for saving my hearing.
Excerpt: I had pretty much given up hope of getting good, full sound from in-the-ear earbuds that I could afford, and regular buds are very uncomfortable for me. Then I found these and I can't believe the difference in sound quality without the budget-breaking price, all with complete comfort! Total success!
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Great Sound, Lightweight
