Summary: Build, look and comfort: These iems look very nice, has unique design. The earpieces seem built sturdily, the cable seems durable. These are so comfortable that you mayn't feel they're on your ears after wearing them for some times. I would appreciate flat cable like mh1c or xb series from Sony.
Sound: before burning in, there's a very noticeable hiss in the sound, around 16khz. Feels like breaking glass or something like that.
After burning in, that hiss is gone.
Pros: price, isolation, louness, comfort, warm and good soundstage.
These are very good headphones, even without taking into account the price

Summary: These are very good headphones, even without taking into account the price. I break my headphones alot at work, so have had many sets ( at least 20 so far) and these sound as good as the see beats I had. Clear precise treble and a nice deep rounded bass. Comfortable to wear too. I've had the 300ii and the 475 ones, Tbh these sound just as good as the higher speccd. I'm using them on my HTC one for mp3's etc.
Summary: I have used a different model of sennheiser headphone before (cx150) and they were great! Lasted about 2 years, but when it came to replacing them I went with these as they were a bit cheaper, big mistake. The first pair I got, one headphone started cutting out after about a week, so I got a replacement pair and the same thing happened again after a few days so I got a refund and bought the cx160 model and they have been perfect, great sound, a more substantial cable and...
Would not recommend. Do some research and find a better pair.

Summary: Okay so I've been using these headphones today and I have to say I'm really disappointed. Coming from Sennheiser I expected really good quality sound, but this wasn't the case at all. High frequency sounds like Hi-hats and claps sound extremely sharp and actually made me wince, causing me to turn the volume right down to stop the "hissing" noises. Any track with these sounds in instantly becomes unusable.
I've always been a believer in the quality of Sennheiser ...

Summary: I've always been a believer in the quality of Sennheiser, I had a trusty pair of earphones (the previous generation of the Sennheiser MX 375s) which lasted me a long time and had a decent sound for ear headphones. However these CX175's fall well short of the quality I expected. The treble is very 'tinny', not much resonance and the bass is virtually non-existent.
Summary: I had these for less than 3 months before one of the ear-buds stopped working. Now to be honest I'm used to this problem (has happened often over the years) but I expect at least 6 months before failure. At least on the pair I use daily. That can't be too much to ask. Sound quality was good enough.
Summary: There are good and bad about these headphones. On the plus side, the sound is crisp and relatively good for the price. You're never going to get amazing at this price but the sound is more than adequate. However, to get this good sound is really quite a battle. The sound produced when the cable / wire rubs on clothing or anything else that may rub against them, the noise is awful... Really awful...
Summary: these are good earphones, excellent sound quality, max volume is very high. Bass is also good but i found treble a bit on the higher side, sometimes the treble can hurt your ears but the burn-in period is still not over so I am expecting that they will sound better with time.
Summary: These headphones are absolutely amazing for the price. Yes, there are cheaper headphones. Yes, there are better quality but more expensive headphones. But these headphone are where price and quality intersect. Highly recommend them.
