Lasted not quite 2 years

Matthew M., Newegg
15 December 2014
  • Summary: Get the warranty. I did not mistreat these headphones but they did not even last 2 years of sitting on my office desk. I see they're about double the price I paid for them now also, so make sure you protect them.
  • Pros: Sound great, loved these headphones
  • Cons: Lost a channel about 18 months after I bought them.

  • Pros: Sounds decent for the money. The item was purchased on sale.
  • Cons: Price dropped after purchase. The cords will catch on anything and everything.

Almost Good

Nels D., Newegg
12 April 2013
  • Summary: Not a bad buy when on sale for $15, but I wouldn't particularly recommend. Especially if you plan on using them in an active lifestyle.
  • Pros: • Good quality sound • Strong cable build • Comfortable in-ear
  • Cons: The cable! It's built to last, but its material leaves much to be desired. It's coated with a high-grip rubber, much like that of an Otterbox phone case. It makes for an easily tangled cord, and hard to untangle. Tried jogging with these in once and the resistance from the cable rubbing against m...

Good sound, HIGH cord noise

Brad P., Newegg
26 March 2013
  • Summary: The Apple earbuds don't sound good and absolutely do not stay in my ears. The CX150s solve both of those problems, but introduce an incredible amount of cord noise. The rubbing and crackling from the cord interference is loud enough that I have to crank up the volume very high to drown it out.
  • Pros: Great sound. Good highs/lows. Fit well. Inexpensive.
  • Cons: Tremendous cord noise. No case.

Sennheiser earbuds

OK, but not durable

Jeffrey P., Newegg
23 March 2013
  • Pros: Sound quality is pretty good. Low cost.
  • Cons: These are not very durable. After a couple weeks of use the right ear piece started cutting out. There is a poor connection near the input jack, so if you twist the cord the right way, it works fine. Twist the wrong way, you lose sound. Before these, I had been dragging a $15 pair of Sonys all ov...

Sound great, but can't get good fit!

James H., Newegg
16 March 2013
  • Pros: Good price, sound great, fast delivery1
  • Cons: I must have small ear canals, I just can't get a good fit. Unless they are right inside your ear, the sound is very tin like.

14 February 2013
  • Pros: comfortable
  • Cons: The sound on these is really unremarkable. It's much worse than the $7 foam headphones I bought a few years ago.

Very comfortable but lacking bass.

Brock L., Newegg
12 February 2013
  • Summary: I'll probably end up keeping these since the price was ok. Disappointed in the bass but they're acceptable for using at work. I work in an office environment and listen to music most of the day.
  • Pros: Very comfortable. Multiple bud sizes included. Honestly the most comfortable ear buds I've ever owned. The rubber is very thin so it doesn't press hard against your ear canal at all while still keeping a tight seal. Cord length is long enough to wear under jacket with phone in pocket with enough ...
  • Cons: These buds have crisp highs but have a pretty big lack of bass. I've tried all 3 bud sizes and still have the same problem. I compared these buds to my old Skullcandy Smokin Buds and the Samsung buds that game with my phone and the Sennheisers have the weakest bass of the 3. They sound more crisp...

No Bass

Richard S., Newegg
10 January 2013
  • Pros: Decent quality. Low price when purchased at $15 sale price.
  • Cons: No bass. I mean zilch. Granted that bass performance is dependent on getting a good seal. Maybe others get bass. I have let them break in. To be honest, I hate too much bass but these don't deliver much of any. Bought two but will return one.
