Great headphone for its price

Paul L., Newegg
3 January 2015
  • Summary: Very good pair for the price. I did research on this headphone, and the only thing bad about this headphone is the $200 price tag vs build quality. Therefore, for $39.99 this pair of headphone is a steal.
  • Pros: Balanced sounds. Everything mixed well. Can't wait for the break-in period for new headphone, this thing will sound lovely. Other reviews criticized the build quality, for $39 this pair of headphone looks great. Got 5 extra pairs of inserts.
  • Cons: The remote is compatible only with Apple products as the product document stated.

WILL NOT WORK WITH MOTOROLA

Bryan T., Newegg
5 October 2014
  • Summary: I'll be talking with Scosche about the issue and I don't know if there are other hardware having the same issue but every Motorola device I tried failed.
  • Pros: AMAZING Fit. AMAZING Sound. Love the packaging and the overall fit and finish
  • Cons: WILL NOT WORK WITH MOTOROLA DEVICES. I have a Moto X (Gen 1). My wife has a Moto X (Gen 1) and we have an old Motorola RAZR. With all three of the devices, the headphone jack does not go in all the way. Went to the Verizon store to test other devices. Tested iPad/iPhone/Samsung/LG and a non smartphone. All of the other devices worked great but ALL the Motorola devices failed to output sound into the right ear.

  • Cons: I got a great deal of $40, but they are usually pricey. Wiring is sturdy, but that makes it heavier.

User Review

Tony C., Newegg
9 July 2014
  • Summary: My V-MODA Remix Remote In-Ear Noise-Isolating Metal Headphone with 3-Button Apple® Control works fine on the Moto X. Yes, the button's don't work but at least I can hear with both ears. Just a bit of info in case others with MotoX were planning to buy this.
  • Pros: Nice sound quality, highs and mids are crisp and clear.. not like the cheapie ones. The base is not as deep as I would like but good enough. It works great on my ipad, iphone 4, and my android HP touchpad. I'm rating it 5 stars because it is a good product and works as stated on the box (apple products). It did not say it will work on android products.
  • Cons: It does not work on my android Moto X, only the left ear has sound. The middle button does start and stop the song. I need to use the included adapter for sound to be heard on both ears, adapter looks weird since the mic jack is hanging loose, it is unsightly and I won't use it when I'm out in the street. Again, it's a con for me but just to be fair I will reiterate that the product does not say it is android compatible.
