Excellent Price Worthy Product

Eli H., Newegg
22 September 2011
  • Summary: This thing has lasted for about 3 years for me and I need to buy a new one now because the battery is giving out. Excellent product that just works!
  • Pros: I bought 3 of these units. One was DOD, but I got it replaced with no problem. Syncing it is easy, I use it with my phone, laptop and PS3 without a single issue. Awesome clarity and easy to use. The range is insane, to give you an idea I can leave my phone on one side of my house and still have r...
  • Cons: Expect the ear clip thingy to break. Trust me it will break. The three I had, I gave to three different people, the clip broke on all three for all three people. I bought replacements for pennies, but those broke too. Don't bother with the replacements. You can snugly fit it into your ear and it ...

Excellent Value - Sounds Very Good 95%/time

Carlton G., Newegg
3 January 2010
  • Summary: I've been using this bluetooth for several months. I would recommend this bluetooth headset as a real bargain in the $20 price range.
  • Pros: Clear reception 95% of time, easy to hear, enough volume for 95% of conditions. Doesn't fall off easily, several hours talk time. The satisfaction I get for the price - the bang for the buck - gets 5 stars from me.
  • Cons: Some days, depending on the weather, it can be noisy with no relief - but mostly this headset works great. It isn't very comfortable, and after a couple months I took off the rubber earpiece cover as it didn't fit my ear at all. Now I can shove the hard plastic earpiece into my ear for short peri...

Good for the price

Jason U., Newegg
29 October 2009
  • Pros: Small, charging doesn't require earhook removal, loud enough
  • Cons: As with all Samsung bluetooth headsets of this type, the earhook broke. Nose cancellation didn't work all that well...Most people stated that they were having a hard time understanding my words...

Great for the price

Brian G., Newegg
13 October 2009
  • Pros: Small, easy to use, fits my wife's ear well.
  • Cons: The noise cancelling is ok. I can hear an echo when my wife call's me sometimes. Wish that the power adapters would all be standardized on these things. One more power cord to keep up with now.

works well

Anonymous, Newegg
12 October 2009
  • Summary: Getting holding wire around ear with one hand takes a little practice (like they all do).
  • Pros: First earpiece I have truly liked. In the budget cars where the road noise gets through more, I always had trouble getting a good earpiece fit. The long around the ear model, over the ear, etc. These that fit like headphone ear bud. Very light and much easier to hear. Highly recommended.
  • Cons: No car charger or usb charger.

  • Summary: This is my fourth bluetooth in last 2 years and I will say that I am quite happy with this product. I use this mostly in the car and I have yet to hear anyone on the other line asking me to repeat my comments because they can hear me well.
  • Pros: - Easy to sync with my blackberry curve - Pretty good battery life - Good sound and mic
  • Cons: - Startup time is slow - Does not fit tightly in the ear, but tolerable

Samusng WEP700

Dave M., Newegg
29 July 2009
  • Summary: Recommend: So far yes but don't expect a new one. Newegg should be just a little more informative/honest on their information about it. New/used/referb etc. The OEM packaging is a sandwich style baggie and mini-bubble wrap bag for the headset but it is all there, same as the retail package.
  • Pros: Works. Light weight and very comfortable. It is easy to swap between left and right sides. Easier to get into the paring mode that a Jawbone II. Volume controls easy to access and use. Sounds pretty good at both ends. Called home while driving and wife said was fading in/out. Pointed more towards...
  • Cons: Newegg doesn't say new/used/refurb, so my bad, but they have to be refurb. Inside the manual front cover was a note that said it was purchased at a Verizon phone store 2/28/09 by Dave and Buster's in Maple Grove so don't know if they are Samsung certified and covered by their warranty or not. Sam...
