very weak construction

Anonymous, Newegg
15 July 2010
  • Summary: will look for reviews of a better quality headset before re-ordering
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: I have just received my replacement headset from newegg.ca- same problem. plastic over the ear is shoddily constructed, as the 2nd set came broken at the same place.

Junk

Christopher C., Newegg
25 June 2010
  • Summary: newegg.com usually gets my shipment to me within two days with no extra cost. I don't know why this shipment from Atlanta to Missouri took 10 days.
  • Pros: Easy to configure and good sound quality
  • Cons: Both ear pieces were broken off, dangling from the wire when newegg.com finally got my shipment to me 10 days after purchasing. Doing RMA now but from reading other reviews, it looks like it won't be long before they break again. Would have liked to see the charger use micro USB

Do not buy!

John S., Newegg
21 May 2010
  • Summary: Note: This was not purchased through NewEgg, just wanted to let everyone know what a bad product this headset is.
  • Pros: Speaker quality good, music sounds fine.
  • Cons: Some echoing from mic during phone calls. The neck strap broke right by earpiece after 2 months. RMA'd, received replacement, neck strap broke in the middle on the first day. Taped with electrical tape, broke by earpiece again a week later. Have returned for credit on another brand.

Broke..right down the middle. 2 months.

mike w., Newegg
2 March 2010
  • Summary: Its a shame. I really like these headphones as I can wear them at work without totally isolating myself.
  • Pros: Sound is very good. Once paired connects very easily
  • Cons: Cursed behind the head straps durability. Like a lot of posts about these after owning for right at 2 months the back strap broke in the middle. These saw very little usage and were never abused. Comfort is so/so.

Horribly Poor Design

Peter H., Newegg
23 February 2010
  • Pros: Sound was quite good. Separate slide on/off button was nice.
  • Cons: Uncomfortable after a short while. Pinched my ears. I could wear only for a short periods. I was willing to live with that. But... I'm completely disappointed in the fact that the band simply snapped WHILE I WAS WEARING IT! I had it resting above my ears a bit, basically in the position just as y...

Horrible ...

Sekhar V., Newegg
17 February 2010
  • Summary: i purchased this on Jan 17 .. today is Feb 17 .. which means that this product decided to break at exactly the cutaway point in Neweggs' return policy :-(
  • Pros: nothing ...
  • Cons: 1. it sits too tight on the ears, hurting them after a few mins 2. mine broke exactly on the 30th day, which means that newegg will no longer replace it :-( 3. a complete dud in my hands now ...

Thanks for the broken product Newegg

Chris S., Newegg
20 January 2010
  • Summary: Pretty irritated that these were shipped to me for free and now I'm going to have spend my money to ship these back when it's not a fault of my own they are broken.
  • Pros: Free shipping?
  • Cons: Arrived broken. Very cheap plastic connecting earphones to the frame. Not sure why somebody at newegg didn't look in the package to clearly see these were busted in the package? I could tell that when I opened the box.

Fragile

Anonymous, Newegg
20 January 2010
  • Summary: Pass for a better fit/studier bluetooth set.
  • Pros: Good sound quality. Fit wasn't bad. Easy to configure with Samsung netbook.
  • Cons: Fragile. Plastic 'headband' broke with 1 week. Glad I only wasted $30 since these were on sale. I'd be rather displeased if I'd paid the $80 sale price. Wouldn't work with older Dell Latitude D820.

Product is a disappointment . . .

Francis H., Newegg
10 January 2010
  • Summary: Akin to another reviewer, I should have done more research. But, I was optimistic that I could finally cut the cords and go wireless via BT. I guess the BT tech is just not "there" yet . . . maybe in a few more years. A little disappointed that Newegg has a no refund policy on this device.
  • Pros: None. My intent was to use this device for online gaming (e.g. audio and teamspeak) which was an epic fail.
  • Cons: After 30-45 min of puttering to get this device to work on my PC - I was able to make two determinations: 1) you can use this to listen to audio; or, 2) you can attempt to use this as a microphone. These are mutual excusive events. In other words, you cannot have audio from a game and use this as...

Impulse buy, Egg Saver Deal

Tracy B., Newegg
7 January 2010
  • Summary: Well, I got two for the price of one on the EggSaver... Not worth returning. Avoid these, research, and get something better.
  • Pros: Decent sound quality (when it works)... Works well syncing to laptop for Skype and multimedia. I re-learned something I already knew... research before you buy; not after. Ugh.
  • Cons: Horrible fit. I wear a 7½ fitted hat size... these are way too small. Best fit for women and children. It syncs with my Samsung Alias2 phone, but calls are loaded with static and the person on the other line indicate it echos. Also, I use my Alias2 with a MicroSDHC card loaded with music... Sound...
