Excerpt: Use mostly to plug into a Yamaha digital piano to keep things quiet around here. They seem to be built in a quite sturdy fashion; the sound quality is fine for this use; and in fact I prefer them over much more expensive Bose noise-canceling headphones for this purpose, because the Bose's almost pick up too much, must be turned way down, etc.
Excerpt: I was looking for a good pair of headphones with some of the quality of the more expensive ones but without the high price. These headphones sound fairly good and are quite comfortable to wear. I also like to have a true and clear representation of audio that I am listening to. These do a fairly good job without adding extreme bass or coloring the sound. I also like having the one side cord attachment to the headphones making them easier to wear while working.
Pros: Clear Sound, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Great Price
Excerpt: I haven't tested a lot of headphones in this price range, so they might compare to others. I got these in a kit with a H4n and have used them for a while. They sounded ok until I got a pair of 7506's today. I did a sound comparison and wanted to through the Samson's out the window. The 7506's are probably 10 times better, and well worth the 2x price.
Excerpt: These phones are a great value. I own two pair. Very comfortable Good, not outtstanding fidelity. I initially tried them out at Sam Ash on that headphone tree-like thingy where the prices went up to $300.00. You had to go to $150.00 before you got noticeably better sound. very balanced. I like the way that the sound out of My Tascam Dp-02 through these phones is very close to what I get on the burned CD. Also they seem very sturdy so far.
