Almost acceptable headphones

Mark T., Newegg
2 March 2016
  • Summary: In 2015 I've tried 5 models of earbuds since the set that came with my HTC One lost sound in one side: Panasonic RPHJE120K JBL J22 Rosewill RHTS-11002 Sony MDR-EX100AP/L Sennheiser CX200 They are listed in rank of my satisfaction.
  • Pros: Sound almost good enough to not need an equalizer. Block out a good amount of outside noise.
  • Cons: Since day 1, one earbud has not sounded as good as the other side. That bad side also makes a loud click when you put it in your ear. Must be poor quality control, which is so common today.

Good audio at least

Axel R., Newegg
24 February 2016
  • Pros: Rosewill was the manufacturer so the quality of the audio is there.
  • Cons: Wouldn't stay in my ears. The Cherry wood is gimmicky. The wires suck and break/get twisted easy.

Rosewill RHTS-11002 - Earbuds

Hector C., Newegg
15 October 2015
  • Summary: okay value considering the price, cheap enough that you won't cry if you lose them
  • Pros: - fairly good materials, rubberized cord - good music midrange-treble reproduction - cheap price
  • Cons: - bass is weak - no markings for LEFT or RIGHT channel buds, had to put a tape myself to distinguish them - occasionally my right channel drops out and I have to wiggle the plug

Opinion hasn't changed: Rosewill is awesome

Matthew A., Newegg
29 August 2015
  • Summary: I've purchased several Rosewill products in the past. A power supply, two cases, cables; this just adds onto the list of parts that they have not skimped out on. Very happy with their products and will continue going to them.
  • Pros: Nice quality Travel pouch is useful Plenty of fittings for different ear sizes
  • Cons: Rubbery wires can be a slight nuissance

Marcus S., Newegg
27 August 2015
  • Summary: I wouldn't buy these. I would find a comparable pair from another manufacturer. They do have some kind of warranty, but by the time I went through the shipping process it would cost more than just buying another pair.
  • Pros: They sounded great for the 10 minutes they worked.
  • Cons: Broke almost as soon as I used them. Volume was only up to 15/30 on cell phone. Cord was not tugged on or anything. They just died.

  • Pros: They were super cheap, so worth a shot.
  • Cons: They didn't really fit with my ears and they ended up hurting pretty bad; however, I am picky, so take that into consideration.
