Good sound/mic quality, durable, the earpads fall out.
15 July 2013
Summary: Despite the earpad problems, you can (sort of) get used to it, and at the end of the day, this is a very nice headset. Also, it doesn't seem like anyone else had this problem (or maybe they just didn't bother complaining...), so go right ahead.
Pros: This headset works very nicely. Good sound quality, good mic, and it's nice and durable. No major problems with it except...
Cons: The earpads. You've gotta be kidding me with the freakin' earpads. I don't know if it just me but these stupid things just have a mind of their own. If I touch them slightly wrong, they just fall right out. If I take it off without supporting the earpads with my thumbs, they'll just fall out. This is just insane. And yes, it happens with both styles of earpads. (The headset is not broken in any way that would make them fall off. Its been like this since I got it.)
Summary: I already wrote a... two reviews for this but at the time I was being Mr. Critic Superior Pants. So disregard the previous ones. Newegg seriously needs to allow reviews to be deleted, at least. This is kinda silly.
Pros: - Good sound quality. - Mic quality is good as well. - Feels sturdy/durable. - Has dedicated volume control; I didn't even notice it until something like a week ago. All in all, definitely worth the sale price($48).
Cons: - A tad small for my giant head but it can extend a bit so it fits just fine. But again, a tad tight.
Summary: I will no longer be a newegg customer. The last item i ordered from here I RMA'd, and they claimed there was end user damage. The end user damage was impossible though, considering the item didn't even have the parts that they claimed to be broken.
Pros: Worked -- past tense -- Great. quality was fine.
Cons: Worked great for about a week, then, without warning - microphone crackled and stopped working completely. Not sure if it had anything to do with the company that made this, it is the second thing NewEgg has sent me that is defective. Also is a bit uncomfortable, but i do have a rather large head
Summary: Great headset for only $50, hard to find good deals when you are on a tight budget. Glad I found this.
Pros: -Clear trebles -Balanced basses -Comfortable -Stylish -Good pick-up on the mic Great head set. Its nice to finally find a headset for a good price that doesn't have an overwhelming (or even underwhelming) bass. Plenty loud enough, even unbearable at some points. The auto-mute mic is very convenient for gamers who have to go AFK frequently.
Cons: -Small -Short cord As stated above, the headset is rather small, especially people with larger heads. It can get a little uncomfortable sometimes, but not enough to take away an egg. Also, the cord is a little short, but not enough to be ridiculously inconvenient.
