Summary: Great quality sound, amazing for music and gaming. I haven't had a headset which can compare with the quality of sound it produces. Only negatives would be the durability. After using the headset for a few months, and having to replace the detachable microphone the right headphone broke completely off at the adjustable section of the headband from daily use. Became unusable, and needed replaced. Was worth the money but would not purchase again, not suited for heavy use.
Summary: Sounds absolutely great, microphone is clear as a bell, surround is nice and clear (with very distinct front and rear channels). However, there are 2 problems with this headset. 1. the comfort pads actually hurt quite a lot after half an hour or so. Feels like they're pulling out your hair. shifting the headset slightly every so often fixes this. 2.
Summary: After coming back to PC gaming after a stint on consoles, I tried to get by with my Turtle Beach X41 headphones for a while. And all though they did work, it was too much messing about with audio output settings and microphone extension cables each time I wanted to use them. This quickly stopped me bothering with them so I decided on a dedicated set of PC gaming headphones. These seemed to fit my requirements, and also looked very reserved in their design.
Summary: After two pairs of Medusa 5.1s I decided to try the Roccats. Honestly wished I hadn't, like other reviewers I found those squares on the headband very painful. So much so I snipped them off and wrapped the headband from the old Medusas round them. Medusas felt slightly heavier but velvet ear cups were better. The hinges on both are the weak points of the designs. Always seem to break with me somehow.
Summary: After much thought about replacing my Medusas which were great i bought these Rokkat surround, they are really comfy even after 4 hours straight gaming ,nice desktop controller for mike mute/sound and balance, easy setup usb and jack leads for sound card But i feel that the sound quality is just not as realistic as the medusa 5.1 .
Summary: I am mad about sound quality and I thought that this would be the ultimate headset, but it wasn't as good as expected suround 7 out of 10 Sound quality(music) 7 out of 10 bass 5 out of 10 ergonomics 5 our of 10 ( the headset is very heavy) Mic is nice
Summary: When building my new PC, with the exception of a monitor, I decided to invest in everything new. With the audiophile advent of a separate mic and headphone set up that I don't currently care for, I found it quite difficult to pinpoint what a good gaming headset would be. Eventually, after finding a few scattered reviews and making my own mind up, I went for these. When they came, I was immediately enamored with the size of the box and overall quality of the product.
Summary: I was expecting a set of headphones of substantial build quality, gorgeous styling and flawless functionality. All of which were only partially fulfilled. Two sets of these headsets broke within a week of receipt. The first pair developed a loud crackle and only one or two channels could be heard. The second pair seemed to be working fine, until the removeable mic arm connector fell apart when it was removed!
