Summary: I loved this headset for over a year. Sound in games was excellent for a pair of cans. I generally don't believe the digital 5.1 and previously owned a Logitech G35 that was pretty good, but not nearly as good as my speaker system. I always preferred Logitech 5.1 surround sound systems, but I needed to limit the noise due to my wife complaining. So, I bought these hoping it would be just ok.
Pros: Great directional sound True surround sound drivers Looks sweet
Cons: Warranty blows Can be uncomfortable with long term use
Summary: Overall, great headset. Make sure your on-board sound card can handle it or buy a dedicated sound card. And play with the settings, turn on Base Management, Play with the speaker fill. Change some of the equalizer settings, or use room correction. These have also turn't me into a bit of an audiophile. Beware of the daaark side.
Pros: I am going to start by saying that I have held off on the review of this because I've had a lot of up and down moments with these and while the end result is the main thing that matters, I do want to go over a few things for those who may be looking into getting these. The end result is amazing sound, and great clarity to your surroundings. I play CoD and CS and I find it significantly easier to position myself based off of the sounds heard in game. Far better than so...
Cons: While there may be alot in terms of cons, most of them can be work-arounds. I will agree with most that this headset has a low amount of base. But the work around is just having a good sound card set-up. I personally have the standard on-board realtek 1150 which is great for this headset. It has allowed me to work around this easily. The problem i feel is that most people treat this like a headset software-wise. When I plugged in my set, i've come to set it as a speak...
Summary: I have the Soundblaster Zx card and I will admit that it was a royal pain to trial and error setup this system. My best advice is to try the setting mentioned in the Pro's section.
Pros: This is the best headset that I have ever owned. I have had several in the years before and this one blows the rest away. This headset is not technically a headset from a computer setting standpoint. For those having trouble, try setting this up as a 7.1 surround speaker system. Also get the k-lite codec pack for further tuning. This headset works best with a sound card that has built-in amplified channels.
Cons: Rough use will cause a bit of wobble with the mic but it still works good.
Summary: I would buy it again, as the sound quality is awesome. I didn't have any static that people are talking about.
Pros: Simple controls, good sound, great for games. This headset has great sound and playing games is awesome with it. The controls are awesome and the ease of switching between the speakers and the headset is a great feature. Well setup as a whole.
Cons: The Price is a bit steep. The only reason I bought it is because it was on sale. utilizing drivers can be a bit clunky. I still need a sound card to optimize it, though. The comfort is not always there (after long sessions it can become uncomfortable).
Razer Tiamat, Probably the Best Gaming headset available, not to mention great for any Audiophiles and Movie Junkies

Summary: Amazing Headset. I highly Recommend this Razer Tiamat Headset. This is the short review, the simple "Buy these and you will be happy review" Now for the Detailed Review. My Biggest Complaint with Headsets these days is the Build Quality, the wiring/soldering is terrible, the structural integrity is a joke, they all break at pivot pins and the screws on the headband just fail.
Summary: If you do not own a SoundCard that supports 3.5mm jacks, don't buy these. Also the sound card NEEDS to be 7.1 Audio. Using only a few of the jacks (i.e. Laptop) is NOT going to give you high quality. I have seen reviews of people bashing these headphones and not properly reviewing them (one guy did a YouTube video of them using his Laptop, not smart).
Pros: Headphones sound GREAT. The quality is above and beyond. 5 Speakers in each earcup is high quality. These are not your average headphones. Music is A+ and Gaming is A+. Love them! I have tested headphone after headphone (USB and Non-USB) and Razor, oddly because some of their products are total garbage, did an outstanding job with these headphones. I'm a bit sad they haven't gone back and re-done these into a newer version. I'm also very happy they have 3.5mm jacks as...
Excerpt: Very happy with the quality of the product, also the price from B&H was great. I was about to live to another country and worrying about not get here in time but just like they promised, it arrived very fast.

Summary: It worked better than i thought especially when paired with my asus xonar phoebus soundcard but it didnt last too long. After owning it for a few months the mic started not to work on it but at the time i didnt need the mic too much so i didnt really worry but it was just the start of my problems.
Summary: Ok I've been using these for awhile now. They are seriously comfortable, and only need a slight adjustment about every hour as gravity will begin to drag them down. If you play any games where you want to hear exactly where other players or NPCs are, this is the headset for you. It captures sound direction wonderfully, even on games that don't support it. I know it sounds strange but it still works.
