Uncomfortable and Flimsy
17 January 2014
Summary: It has been about 6 months since I purchased these headphones and I have gone through two headsets over that time frame. I do find quite a few flaws from wearing the headset and that Razer's quality control has not been as it used to be back in the day. First of all I find that the ear cups are much too tight and can cause headaches due to the tension that the ear cups produce after prolonged use.
Summary: a little bit expensive but it's very good for a headset crisp clear sounds comfy headpiece, i personally forgot once i was wearing it and pulled the USB cable out when i got too far. only once like but still light issue has been fixed by Razer so no issues at all with the item it works amazingly on the game and a must for PC gamers. at least a gaming headset but this is the best quality of one i've found so far.
Summary: It was given a four star for being a good well rounded headset. It has some LED lights, nice audio control and a decent mic. It has a USB connector with special braided cable. The drivers are easy to use, and I would recommend this product. However, after about 8 months of use the headset died on me, nothing functioned at all, it was like it wasn't even plugged in, Amazon replaced the broken one because of the one year warranty it comes with.
Summary: the lights are only green, the mic makes random loud noises and causes me not to use it anymore, waste of money. think i just bought a bad product, the first week i absolutely loved them though. you're paying for the looks and lights rather than the apparent 7.1 sound and boom mic.
Summary: Brought these headset as I am a huge Star Wars fan and play alot of the game The Old Republic... There is only one word I can describe this headset... LEGEND --- WAIT FOR IT --- DARY The quality of the headset is brilliant and comfy 5/5! all soft padding to keep its comfort I nearly brought the TurtleBeach x41 but im glad i didn't, the specs is the same part from this headset is wired!
Summary: Good sound and the surround had me looking behind myself to see who was there at one point in a film, SWTOR hear stuff going on behind, left and right. The same thing with the sound in GW2 a very nice pair of headphones, they feel a bit tight but after a while that's not noticeable and all I can say is they are very comfortable. Can't comment on the mike as I not used it but can only suppose that it is just as good as the speakers.
Summary: The Razer RZ04 SW:TOR Gaming Headset offers amazing sound. You can tell where an enemy is walking relative to you, from whence an arrow has been launched with ease. The music quality is magnified, beautified; it becomes uplifting, majestic, truly moving. However, the headset's fit is less than ideal as it is too tight, at least for my head, nor is it built to be customized readily.
Summary: I guess this will not be a comprehensive review, but rather me sharing some feelings about this product. To be honest I was considering purchase of Razer The Old Republic peripherals for a very long time. In the end I decided to start with the headset, as I simply needed it. At this price level it's abit above the market standard, but it also gives me a certain added value due to it's design (as I'm a long time Star Wars fan). What can I say?
