Summary: This headset is great, I love the way it sounds, I love the way it feels, I love the case, and I love the box it comes in but there is one major down that made me give this 3 stars the mic picks up wayyy too much I have to have my sound on the lowest setting to use it and the heatset does not last long at all the cords tangle up and strip within 6 months I dont know if its the way I take care of it? I guess it is great while you have it...
Summary: I like the surround sound its pretty nice but on occasion it will just cut out and wont come back for quite some time and also when i turn the computer on i always have to unplug and re plug to get sound and mic to work. This may just be a problem with my PC but considering what my friends have gone threw with these I would say its the headphones because iv never had a problem with headphones on my PC before.
Summary: I returned these after a day. Cost too much for what you get. Pros: Packaging and headphones both look *awesome* Extremely light cloth-woven covering on the cord makes it durable Music sounds fairly good in 2.1 mode Hard-side zipper case for carrying the headset Cons: ****NOT Dolby certified***** They will not mix stereo and 7.1 input natively..
When it works well, it's great, when it doesn't, it's a pain.

Summary: I have no problems with the Megalodon when it comes to gaming. Games that support 7.1 sound great with it, and it's supremely comfortable, able to be used for hours without discomfort. However, I can barely watch any streaming media without hearing a clicking noise occasionally. That may be due to something with my hardware specifically, or it may be due to the compression used on sites like youtube. However, my other headsets don't do that.
Summary: This product looks cool on the cover and it looks cool coming out of the box. However that mood changed very quickly since there isn't any real easy way of installing this product. After I finally got it working, I was very disappointed at the sound quality, lack of bass, and the max volume. I had previously owned a Logitech G35 Headset and I have actually, since returning this one, gotten another G35. I had high hopes for this but was not happy at all.
Summary: I'd been reading reviews about this headset for a long time, and after going through a very long stream of Logitech USB headsets, I finally decided to pony up for "the best". The audio quality is excellent. The 7.1 virtual surround sound is surreal, and the sound is better than a lot of moderately expensive true 7.1 speaker systems.
Summary: This headset sounds amazing, the spatial awareness is really well done, and music sounds amazing with 2.1 (sounds really messed up with 7.1 but that's to be expected). My only con with this headset is the mic, and was the reason i returned it. My cheap $20 headset mic sounded worlds better than this one. I heard it may be a driver issue since i have windows 7 64bit but i updated it with numerous drivers out there and still no fix, only lessoned the problem.
Summary: I primarily bought this headset for in-game communication with my friends as we were playing online together. So one of the most important things about this headset to me was the microphone. However, that was worst part of this headset. I got my new headset and was excited to plug it in and communicate with my friends. However when I logged in, they immediately ask what was wrong with my headset.
