Summary: Comfortable to wear for hours at a time eventhough it's heavier than most the fabric on the sides of the headphones doesn't bother you or develop an odor although it needs to be cleaned from dust (preferably with alcohol). The 7.1 feature is pretty useless.
Summary: I purchased this about 8 months ago. Had great sound, mic sensitivity had to be set to 0 or it had feedback (I tend to leave one ear off, and it picked up the other speaker like nothing else. Once I played around with it a bunch it finally sounded pretty decent.
Summary: I ordered this on June 26th, 2012. Have worn it and used it regularly since. While it is a good product, the headset audio randomly stops working. If I unplug the USB and plug it back in, it works just fine again. I have the latest drivers (Pft, from 2011...) but this still occurs.
Summary: It looks pretty and the sound is good but the mic is rubbish, on the lowest setting it still picks up my wife talking in the other room and the fan on my case on the other hand they fit my head comfortably and that was the reason I bought them. ..
Summary: I purchased this headset as a way of getting around a broken 3.5mm port on my motherboard (I had been dual running a headset through a Xonar DGX and my desktop speakers through the motherboard). My old headset, the Sennheiser PC151, had great sound but hurt my ears after extended use.
Summary: Sound was fine in 2.0 and 7.1 mode. A bit of an echo though in 7.1 mode, but was bearable. When utilizing the microphone (OMG) it was horrendous. I tried adjusting the settings on my computer and so on and so forth, but no absolute luck.
Summary: Pros: Great Sound Quality Looks amazing Desktop Hub make it easy for in game adjustments Cons: Bright blue display always on(caused by motherboard though) No Dolby Pro Logic II support. This headset is a great 7.1 headset when you have a game or movie that supports it.
Summary: Ok guys, I have no idea why these are getting some bad reviews. Thses came today, I updated the firmware, made the volume adjustments I wanted. got into Vent to ask my guildies what they thought, and the overwhelming response was nothing short of incredible.
Summary: While being an excellent product on all fronts, the Razer Megalodon headset has one fatal flaw I noticed right after receiving it. For unknown reasons, this headset takes up a MASSIVE (63-65%) of any computer's USB bandwidth.
Summary: I have used these headphones for 1 week now and the sound is excellent quality and the 7.1 surround sound works outstandingly well. However, the mic has had static issues since the day I have received it and Razer was of no help.
