Cons: I've had this exact same type of headset for a couple years. Loved it, sounded great. This one doesn't. My cord was getting bad so i bought this as a replacement. It does NOT sound the same. quiet specifically the sound is just terrible in comparison. it sounds so hollow. My head used to feel good with the pumping sound and now it gives me a headache. I can plug in my old one and listen to each right next to eachother and im disgusted how absolutely terrible THIS one ...
Summary: Bought these about 4 months ago for Counter Strike: GO. The sound was good initially and the looked great. However, the microphone was horrible. Like something with the splitter made it so that you could hear all my in game whenever I tried talking. I tried lowering my in game and adjusting my microphone boost and levels but nothing worked. I have had other headsets in the past and never had this issue.
Summary: I've been gaming for numerous years now, and I've finally got a headset that I can honestly say puts any other pair of headphones/headsets to shame. I paid $45 to get a refurbished pair of these, and I'm completely stunned. People say "Beats are best!" and "Logitechs are the way to go!" for audio quality, comfort, etc. I reckon that 200%. I've had Beats Solo HD's that were originally $200, and the Krakens put them to shame.
Summary: This is my first gaming headset, so I can't really compare it to anything else. However, for the price I paid, I'm pretty happy with it. They fold up, which is nice and the mic is retractable into the headset. Although, I try to refrain from pulling it out and retracting it as I have no idea how durable that really is. It's pretty well built for the price in my opinion and I love the green colour.
If someone offered these new to me for $15 I'd pay max of $10.

Summary: Pros: They look great. ---- Cons: Cord makes noise through the left headphone when you move it even slightly. Sounds like your wearing a stethoscope.. Unless you sit perfectly still not moving a inch you will hear the cord in the headphone.. Deal breaker for me. Does not feel good on the ears, the material used is good for sound blocking but not comfort. Ears get hot quick. Headband is too tight, can probably be fixed by stretching so not really a huge issue.
Summary: I was excited when I got this headset in the mail and anticipated amazing quality, but was immediately disappointed when I put them on, and I didn't even have them plugged in yet. I highly recommend Steelseries Serbias, which I think I will be going back to.
Pros: 1. The purple color is more of a pink-purple, but more pink than purple. I prefer pink. 2. Better than cheap earbuds. 3. Bass is decent.
Cons: 1. Immediately after I put them on, I could clearly and loudly hear the sound of my head turning and my hair touching my shoulders. If you aren't listening to constant loud music, it is immensely annoying. None of my previous headsets I've had over the years have ever done this. The right ear even makes a squeak when I turn my head, as if two of the plastic parts are rubbing against each other. :/ 2. Music sounds muffled or like it's "down a tunnel," in a sense. It's ...
