Summary: This headset is great for the price. I only paid $60 for it because I had a coupon. This is probably one of the best headsets for the price it's at. I used to own a Logitech G930 which is ~$120 and I would rather get this over the logitech one if they were the same price.
Pros: - Great Surround Sound! (Except Things behind you are quiet) - Long Cord - Braided Cable - Comfortable (View Cons For More Info Though) - Look Great - Mic quality is great - Very Loud Sound - Easy to set up
Cons: - Surround Sound Is Quiet if things are behind you - If the cord touches anything it is VERY loud in the left ear cup - Ear cups are a little small (My ears aren't very big either) - Extremely tight right out of the box (They loosen up a lot) - Mic mute button is in a weird spot - No volume wheel...
Pros: Headphones sound quality is over the top, Mic sound quality is amazing as-well, they look cool as hell and the durability is not bad.
Cons: The Synapse 2.0 is pretty glitchy and it crashes from time to time. Hopefully they will fix this in the future and if they did already by the time you're looking this review turn this post into 5 stars.
Summary: Tired of working with average, this is a step up from any headset I've ever owned. USB works but you rely on Windows to manage your streams. Overall after some poking around, this has become a big hit in my studio.
Pros: DJ online radio, picked these up to replace average headsets. Got to say these sound excellent. Mic is explosive and responsive. Didn't expect the quality and comfort. For the price these perform as well as the big ticket items if not better. I would buy them again.
Cons: USB is only as good as your sound card. Having to switch back and forth to different sound situations becomes a time wasting practice (minus the one egg). Software should include some type of script to avoid changing sources but hey for the price most people will benefit.
Summary: -Bass is very strong with default settings. This can be a Con or a Pro depending on who you are. I have listened to music with these (after changing the EQ settings), but due to the fact that my ears start to hurt after a few hours i mostly use them for chatting on Curse or Skype.
Pros: -look of the headset is very nice -Mic picks up voice clearly without changing any settings, but like all other headset microphones there is much room for improvement. -Gaming for 1-2 hours is comfortable (i have a pretty big head) -Cushion in the top band -Software is very easy to use (dont let ...
Cons: -During long gaming sessions over 3 hours, ears begin to hurt (again i have a pretty big head)
Summary: Price, feel, look and quality are all great, just don't buy if you have even a mili inch bigger than average ears.
Pros: Great sound, bass and look. One of the biggest things about gaming headsets for me is can it fit comfortable with glasses. Hardly and reviews or descriptions eve rmention this so i took a risk getting this. Price is great and everything about it very good, but read cons to see why I'll likely end...
Cons: Maybe my left ear is bigger than my right haha or I got the left cup slightly smaller cause after two hours of use, my left ear is absolutely on fire. The right feels fine so idk what's up with that. I know I definitely have slightly above average sized ears so it could be a factor but it's just ...
Pros: Easy to use and easy to set up. Looks amazing with the neon logo. Mic is easily retractable so it will never get in the way if not needed. Probably one of the best looking headset to date. Nice thick durable wire so it will least likely to tear or rip.
Cons: The wiring when rubbing or moving can make a lot of noise in the left ear piece when you do not have sound on. When using for a long time your ear does get a little hot.
Summary: The headset is fantastic. I have no regrets after purchasing. I would definitely recommend to friends, however there are just those few adjustments that would make this perfect.
Pros: Great bass (after enhancing with Razer Synapse software) USB interface creates less echo when video conferencing (vs analog interface) LED lit logos on each side with led lit ring around mic Comfy and greatly reduce surrounding noise Surround sound works really well.
Cons: NO INLINE VOLUME CONTROL -- This would be incredibly handy and many current headsets have this capacity. Razer has failed to acknowledge the need for this. I think this would be very nice to be able to quickly mute or adjust volume mid game in case someone needs to mention something to me, I don'...
